Seattle would be cool as fallout series first snow wasteland, also since I'm pretty sure seattle is hipster capital of the world it would be neat to see the pre war culture as more advanced and unique compared to all of the east coast being nothing but 50's cheery 1940's swing era bullshit with no real culture, just cookie cutter 50's tropes put into a retro future setting, and the whole west coast being made up of compact grim unknowns where very little is known about the culture, and there are only a few giant city areas just like the real west coast, nothing but desert for miles and miles, then one huge urban sprawl.

Music is a bit more experimental or different some how, early punk or electronica, fashion is avant guard, technology was adopted more acceptable (more pip boys maybe even customization? robots and architecture)

Also nice to see a post war greaser gang that actually works on gas or nuclear gasoline hybrid operated vehicles..

ALSO I HOPE THEY GIVE US HELICOPTERS INSTEAD OF PRE WAR VERTIBIRDS.

I mean bethesda is pushing pre war's themes too far retro 40's and 50's instead of into the future, you know the game is set after the 2070's not 1940's

Earlier Fallout's certainly drew inspiration from the pulp comics and sci-fi of the 60's, that's for damn sure.

Fallout should be a good mix of 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s Americana. I'm not a fan of the over the top 90s shit from FO2, but Fallout needs to be both Jetsons and Cowboys. Flappers and GIs.

I might tone down the freckle intensity, but I saw how they looked out of character creation at lower intensity, and they didn't really show up. I'm still tweaking the face a bit. Anything that looks out of proportion?

Buff, finished up removing all of the straps from the muzzle and fixing the normals. I'll start on doing all the changes to the back tomorrow then start on the variant colors, night everyone.

Ears nose and eyes look like the problem areas, funnily enough the jaw looks good and that's usually what gives me the most problems.

The freckles look fine imo.

Fallout is 60s aesthetically just as much as it is 50s.

50s and 60s are aesthetically different

40s and 50s are about the same

And Fallout borrows just as much from the early to mid 60s as it has from the 50s. Go look at the clothes and cars. They're all a part of that post-war buzz.

A lot of the music from fallout new vegas and fallout 4 comes from the 60's I think one song even was released in 1965.

Also 60's Aesthetics is the same as the 50's it's just that in the 60's some different sub cultures popped up like the hippies which are seen in fallout a lot too.

The whole war is basically a retro futuristic vietnam/cold war recreation.
