So my deck is crew chief and I'm building up rogue next. My perks are kinda just thrown into whatever I find interesting but I'm guessing there's a meta or something.
I have no fucking clue about shit I just follow the higher level players and hope that they don't yell at me.

Get muscle. Armor builds are really good, and really easy to play, compared to the complexity of a dodge build (rogue).

Your skills should be specialized, not generalized. Iron man aced should be your first priority if you're going an armor build (hint: you are)
Your second goal with skills is to get am offensive skill for your weapon. Using shotguns? Take overkill basic. Using an assault rifle in full auto? Body expertise aced. Using a DMR or an 80 damage weapon in single fire? Ammo efficiency. Then spec for utility. Ammo bags, saw, c4, drill skills, or inspire aced.
You should have around, assuming level 100, 30 points to spend on whatever.

Do not invest in the covert ops tree of ghost for loud builds.

Biker Heist Day 1 is one of the heists where ignoring it is not really an option IMO. You can't just pop off the shield and walk away like say, Hoxton Breakout Day 1.

You're already sharing the entire open courtyard with all the cops and all the snipers for 20+ minutes, might as well clear out the turret even on DW.

Plus on the easier heists, you have nothing better to do and you are swimming in ammo anyway if you have a properly modded gun.

Pop off the shield three times, then shoot the big circle that the laser comes out of.

Bullets get a x100 multiplier when shot into the weak spot and DW turrets have 400,000 HP. So with a 40-damage AR like the Clarion, you'd need ~100 bullets AFTER you exhaust all the shields.

If you couldn't kill it with 200 rounds, then you either didn't pop the shield off, or you missed the weak spot a lot because you held down M1 too much. When I kill turrets with my CAR-4, I usually hold M1 down in 2-5 second bursts and let go briefly when I think the spread is getting too high. Only time I just go full auto magdump is if I'm in its face and I'm sure I won't miss even if I hold it down forever.

AP slug is the fucking worst, 000 are good, dragon's breath are for specific builds, flechettes are great but not for all shotguns, HE is meh on most of them but op on judge.

AP slugs are only good for ruining your friend's stealth jobs since they can penetrate doors and kill pager guards behind them. Otherwise, they're shit.

Im not really a shotgun person anymore, but accuracy usually doesn't matter since flechettes are basically shrapnels for price of 8 damage. 000s definitely work best with auto shotguns like izhma and aa12 with lowest possible acc for widest spread. Street sweeper is bad nowadays and you shouldn't ever use it.
