Lol i live in houston and im moving to ohio soon

So yeah im down once i get there

Hell yeah OK so there is 2 of us.

toledo asshole here. i'd love to see something actually happen in this shit city. only thing that occurs now are a couple of random late night friday/saturday meetups that pop up in a meijer parking lot. other than that nobody around here does car related shit

Western PA here. Been thinking of organizing a tristate meet.

NE Ohio here, about 20 mins outside Cleveland, always down for a meet.

Fellow Toledo user here, there are meets occasional at the college campus, near secor, but it's a bunch of vape or stance

fuck that noise. i'm neither a vapefag or a stancefag so they'd probably blow smoke at me till i left. plus every time i go near ut something bad happens, so i don't know if i'd waste time going to that

try hitting up meijer on alexis, i've always had luck going on saturdays. a decent turnout with multiple types of cars.

oh, and i usually go about 11 to midnight

Columbusfag here. How about all you mother fuckers come to my centralized location and national fast food test market?

eww, columbus? m8 i don't feel like getting lost in that shithole

>columbus
>shithole

It's the best place for a meetup and Columbus is beautiful.

Cleveland here, I'd be down to help set up a meet.

Traffic is a bit fucked up from the RNC at the minute.

Would be nice to set up somewhere away from the eyes of OSP

> Columbus
> Getting lost

Oy m8 ill fukkin knock the piss out of you I swear on me mum. We have the best highway and road layout around.

>>live in the oh-pa-wv tristate area but don't want to travel to Columbus,Cincy,Dayton or Cleveland.

get up to toledo. get shot if you go into the main city

Northern IN here, I guess it'd be neat. I don't know how up for it my miata is though. Gotta look at some mechanicals before I do anything like this I think.

Ky user here, if you're wanting to make this meet happen, you'll need to base it around a major transit hub. I'd recommend Cincy because I'm biased, but more realistically, Dayton would be the best pick, being right off i75.
It's close enough to only be 2hrs for KY people, and about the same for Indy people as well.

yes i live 10 min outside of downtown cleveland and would love to meet atop a parking garage and drive theough the meteoparks

i also know a couple really good metropark meeting locations near an ice cream place and park grills

Columbus would be the most central place for people

also i have a private in ground pool like 5 min from the metroparks if tou guys r game we could have a pool party

make it a nude orgy pool party and i'm in

Unless you're trying to draw people from Pennsylvania there's no reason to move it an hour further out of the way for KY/IN people.

It'd make sense if you wanted to include more states, but that's against what's stated in the OP.

Dayton is so shitty though. How about Cincinnati?

ill pass on that one

but how would we show that we're true Miat owners without engaging in homoerotic acts of debauchery?

Cincy has lots of river valley hills and would be fun to shred around, but Cincy cops do not fuck around. I've never seen a higher concentration of pissed off police and I've driven Chicago on a Friday/Saturday night.

oh, forgot there aren't any females on Veeky Forums... nevermind, i don't want to see any of your dicks

Dayton is garbage compared to Columbus though, Also you're adding time from people from Cleveland and honestly with Columbus meetup you can have people from pittsburgh

Who here /OhioState/?

If we do Columbus everyone can go drive around Hocking Hills or up north past johnstown/mt vernon

I've done Columbus, and your dubs are definitely persuasive. Stayed a night in Worthington once and it was such an upper class district that I had trouble finding a fast food restaurant.

I /alreadygraduated/ from there.

I'm pretty sure that's just because it's one of those towns where everything has to match like New Albany but I could be wrong.

Cbus fag here. Just hold one meet in Cbus and another in Pittsburgh, and ill attend both, since my buddy lives in Pitt.

Id also like to hold an Veeky Forumsk/ meet, where we drive to a shooting range and shoot guns. It would be a cool group photo.

>it takes several states just to attempt to match Houston
git gud scrubs

Yeah but Houston meet is gonna be enriched by all your displaced Katrina victims.

We don't have a single nigger.

if we do a downtown cleveland meet can we drive dead mans curve

as well as the winding bits of mlk leading to i90

the best of the best roads are clustered around riverview road in brecksville penninsula and valley view

also who here likes to gamble at the casino?

513fag here. Cincinnati lyfe.

Who's up? I might try to hit C&C this weekend if weather permits.

also, hi, yes we eat a lot of Skyline here and
yes there are a lot of cops but if you know where to go it's not too bad.

wooo. Cincinnati is my favorite city in OH, love it here desu

search the #pobcnc tag on facecuck

I'd be down for this. Plenty of space at the target parking lot in my area

I know plenty of Kentucky back roads around here. If people don't mind driving for about 30minutes, I know the togay of all tri-state togays and some other ones right off of KY17

Would be cool love my car and my guns

Say hey if you see me at a cruise in
Give me a WAT sticker and I'd probably put it on under the louvers

Are you the guy that parks in the garage near Route 2/90wb?

This

This is also a pretty cool idea, I've only been to stonewall, haven't been to others

I've been to the horseshoe once, it was pretty decent, a bit two crowed for my tastes. And the Racino was just filled to the brim with senior citizens

330 Anyone? I'm usually between Dover/Phila, Canton, and Orrville

here but im a nocar faggot :(

I'm taking my cat to get fixed in canton tomorrow morning. Lower 330 here.

Hamilton, Ohi/o/ reporting

Damn there's a lot of rice around, would be refreshing to find some respectable cars around here

That's the good part about the tri-state area. Good mix of vehicles. You got your ricers, rednecks, and boomers. I'm somewhere in the middle. I just like vehicles.

This is so close, yet just out of reach.

Philly never has shit going on besides the damn Auto show ever year

My neck of the woods is a bunch of roads that run in and around Alexandria up to Silver Grove. There's quite a few fun roads up there with no police and hardly any drivers after 6pm, but the big problem is the area is rather deer-populous.

We'll have to hang sometime, hope you don't mind an autotragic 2000 Focus :%)

Alright lads, here it is!

I'll give it til the weekend is over, and then we'll gauge responses and go from there.

I ain't waking up at 6am for Cars and Coffee

Why don't we consider the Mid Ohio track? I've been meaning to go but never found time. Also /614/ here

We could get together and maybe rent out the track as a group couldn't we?

>tfw my shitbox is finally seeing the end of its days after 14 years of service

these winters are just too harsh, man. the undercarriage is rusted to shit

Logically speaking, Columbus is the best bet.

It's the only state capital that is geographically in the center of the state.

Well it's most center but actually Centerburg is the center of Ohio. And not only logically speaking but also Logistically speaking.

Boomp for intredast

Ayy

One cool thing about Columbus is that the downtown has been revitalized but nobody wants to go there after business hours. So you have these beautiful parks in the shadow of the skyscrapers, but there is nary a soul in sight. You can lie down in the middle of the busiest road at 9pm and not get run over for a half hour. Its almost an eerie stillness. I also recommend Easton or Polaris malls for meet spots due to the expansive parking lots and excess of shops and restaurants.

We should all go take over the top of the west garage at Easton since no one parks there. It'd be awesome.

Yaus. If I had a dollar for every time I fingered a chick up there, id have like $4

looks like everyone is leaning towards Columbus.

Thaaat sucks. For completely selfish reasons.

are there even any interesting places to drive in Ohio? The only places I know of that are kind of interesting are short, MLK drive, Rocky River Road, Big Creek Pkwy. and everything else is just miles and miles of gentle bends and W I D E straight roads

I've gotta drive from Lex ;_;

Same here. Not saying I have much, just an 87 Firebird, 91 TA, and 06 G6 Coupe, but everybody around here is either a rich boomer with corvette splitwindows or pizza delivery guys with beatup Hondas. Would like to find people in between

Same. Like I just like cars no reason to hate.
Hey you guys seem cool. I'm probably going to C&C tomorrow morning. 05 Manual Focus here :-)
Oh and you too.

I have my 05 Focus and my rusty '90 Benz which is being worked on because it's not running right. Waiting on an FPR in the mail.

If we do an Easton parking garage rooftop meet after dark, ill bring a grill and charcoal. B.y.o.meat to the meet.

Every once in a while you'll see a nice BMW or acura but it's always some dude in his 30's that wants nothing to with people.

columbus fag here, anyone with a Merc wanna meet up?

I'll bring the meat alright

tactical bump

Never actually parked at Easton, is the garage public access? I'm I live exclusively between my basement and campus so I have literally no idea about anything columbus despite living here like 10 years now, can't even navigate i-270 without GPS and its literally just a giant circle

I only have my shitbox civic but I don't mind hanging with some fellow autists to meme about eurobeat and hot girls. I might cop an is250 soon as a DD however so I'll be at least losing impromptu drag races in comfort, relatively

Also forgot to mention, isn't there a Cars and Coffee on Sawmill today? If I can get up in 6 hours I might go

what year is250?

ultra poorfag so 2006. Might get a good deal from a family friend who has access to the Manheim dealers auction.

Yeah that is a pretty poorfag year, but hey. Entry level luxury yo

Losing in comfort is the best way to lose. One of the things I love about my mazda 6. Tons of creature comforts to distract me from my 200hp.

tfw nobody /benz/ here :(

>tfw i go to easton but im ass at parallel parking so have to go to parking lot

>Buying a luxury vehicle in the rust belt

Not saying your car is bad, I just can't knowingly buy a luxury car as a DD in this area.

Considering the cost of premium gas, and the fact that I can't get a straight answer on if the 4GR won't kill itself on regular gas I might also just stick with an is300 like my original plan.

Yeah I'm just a lazy driver so I was looking forward to having a rear-view camera and parking sensors for hopefully $5-7k. I also really don't make enough to justify this purchase, only just now got my job at the Department of Public Safety at OSU for just above min wage.

What year is your Mazda 6 if you don't mind me asking? Those all came with an i4 configuration right? Is the mileage at least decent?

Sorry I don't understand this post at all, haha. Explain?

2011 Mazda 6 i4
Bolt on and a 93 octane tune puts it at ~200HP/200tq @ ~3200lbs. Not the fastest but certainly not slow. Mileage with a heavy foot is right about 23-24mpg.

The salt on the roads around here. I could never buy a luxury vehicle newer than '05 without an alternative vehicle for winters around here. The thought of rust would turn my hair gray.

Rust? Never worried or had that problem, even knew it existed until you mentioned it. My dads been through dozens of Mercs and never had that problem. Mine is three years old and no rust.

And my car is an FWD merc (JFUML) and my dads is AWD so winters not a problem either :)

Not saying that it is a 100% thing, but a chip in the paint in the wrong hidden area and say goodbye to the panel. I just worry about that shit. I bought touchup paint (and apparently so did the previous owner) just for this reason.
