Anyone else intentionally look for clean/nice cars to park next to?

Anyone else intentionally look for clean/nice cars to park next to?

Yes, all the time.

I imagined a riced civic parking next to a corvette and the corvette owner being disgusted

No, stop parking your shit box next to mine.

Yes, because if they have a nice car they probably respect there car enough not to ding mine with the door.

Yes i only park next to other BMW and if there are no BMW to park next to then i leave because obviously its not worth my time to be there

Shit, never thought about that. Makes sense, as well as the reverse (someone with a shitbox is more likely poor, doesn't care about others' posessions and would run off after dinging your car without leaving insurance info (implying they have insurance))

Ty Veeky ForumsP

Then I would never park my car.

i always try to park my car next to a car of the same manufacturer/model as mine, preferably with the same paint job.

this

i know if its a modded car then the owner is the only other person in the lot i can trust

Thats autistic as fuck.

No, I have a specific spot where I park every day.

>2 lotus in one lot
>both bright yellow
>one soft targa
>other has a retarded rear diffuser

fuck is wrong with some people man

this is how subaru fags think

Even same country of origin is better than nothing.
Twice now I've backed in next to a fellow German car that was backed in, and when I came back another German car was backed in beside us.
People like to be near like people.

Not true at all.
Pretty much everyone I've ever met that was born in mexico thinks that it's totally okay and normal to rest their door against your car when getting in and out, and we all know mexicans love to mod their cars.
The best way to protect your car is to go a little farther from the door than normal people would in that situation.
Be very careful at Walmart though, if you go too far back you'll find the homeless and the criminals.
God Bless America.

This.
Just go to Target. God bless soccer moms.

hell yeah motherfuckers

>Parking next to cars ever
Nope
I park in the back of the lot. IDGAF if it's a bit more walking, my legs work fine. I can't fucking stand it when I park 50 feet from the nearest car and when I come out to my car there is someone parked right next to me. I walk around my car and look for dings.

I carved the paint up on the rear driver's side door on a new Suburban because whoever got out of the rear left door hit my car with it. I was parked away from everyone and they just had to park their landyacht right next to me. I took out my knife and went down to bare metal in a beautiful zig zag on the offending door.

That shitboccx lyfe

same

I usually try to park a ways out in parking lots. Today i had my S60R and pic related pulled in next to me while i was in the store.

I look for riced out lesser trims.

What do I drive?

I intentionally look for spots with no one around, and I scoped out and took the two best spots in my parking garage when the car that usually parked there moved.

>one spot has divider so no door dings on passenger side
>other spot has space for walkway so can open door as wide as I want/park as close to the walkway so passenger door can open all the way
Worth the wait bc it's difficult to get in and out in tight parking spots

Yeah he must be saying to himself "_that_ thing beat me in tsukuba!?"

Then he'll hit a guard tail trying to do a burnout in the parking lot

Must be awful being a butthurt Civic owner, on top of being a Civic owner

>drive shitty civic
>park next to anyone

but really, i never park next to big SUVs with family/megachurch/5k stickers on the back

What's your problem

>difficult to get in and out in tight parking spots
maybe don't be a fatass

butthurt civic owner detected

Nothing awful about driving an ep3.

>maybe don't be a fatass
It's a FD RX7, you try it sometime.

I try not to park next to poor people cars like old civics, nissan sentras and buicks.

Have any pictures of the S60R?

If I ever see the same car as mine I might park next to it, otherwise no.

I drive a classic and go out of my way to park by others.

i'm not him but here's mine. volvo love

>tfw too afraid of someone dinging my car to park up front with everyone else
>tfw too paranoid that someone will break into my car if I park it way out in the middle of nowhere with less witnesses

This my R that you can see in the pic

As an aside, while i was leaving after taking the pic of the Hellcat, some old lady in a beat ro shit HHR did a 3point park job right next to it. I was cringing the whole time.

this

>Europe

fucking LMAO

No fuck no people with nice cars are assholes if your car is garbage compared to theirs they will treat it like garbage saw a maserati owner walk to his car and saw that a mustang parked next to it he fucking threw his trash at it. I park where there are no cars I don't mind the walk.

>Land-cruiseship and SWEDEN YES

faggots

You're a dumbass

I avoid parking next to bumped and scraped shitboxes if that's what you mean.

I either park not close to anyone at all with empty spaces around or near a nice car.

Even if it's my piece of shit DD, but I take care of her and don't want dindu's doing shit.

I like to avoid Mercedes and BMW because they are prone to exploding due to being owned by gypsies and the local mafia, dat dere euro life

As a walmart worker I second this. I used to park my new car in the far employee lot, but twice fuckers stood on my hood and once some fucking asscunt egged my baby for no goddamn reason. Got permission from managers to park next to the building and so far nothing bad has happened, not even a door ding from other people.

Tldr don't walmart

Never thought to do it. I tend to park away from people, which usually puts me at the end of the parking lot. I have no problems with this. But should I find myself in a small and/or crowded lot, I will look for clean cars in the future. Thanks for the tip.

ausfag here my car only parks next to other v8 holdens and in a pinch a nice v6 ute

it even picked a vz ute to break down next too hahah the mad skid

I drive a $1000 escort beater and purposely park next to expensive cars in back of lots, i dont mind the walk.

Pic related

>poorfags will never know this feeling

>okay and normal to rest their door against your car when getting in and out

With a big ass, they have to break their door hinges just to get in and out.

This.

The parking spaces labeled 'Compact' are only good for SUVs. If you have a low car (and if you are tall) you have to swing the door wide open to get in and out. With a high car or truck, you can crack the door, stand up and slide out sideways.

And if the space is really tight, you can always hop over the seat and get out the back.

Nice HIDs faggot.

They come stock on the R dipshit

>being mad at hids

I once parked next to a Maybach 57S so I could look at it more closely

saw this Maserati parked at the bar I go to for trivia night a little while back

I don't live in a rich area, by any standards, so it was kind of shocking to see.

1/2

Maserati 2/2

I've never seen that much weight in vehicles in one parking lot.

Looks exactly like a honda s2shit

>Anyone else intentionally look for clean/nice cars to park next to?

Yes, I play the statistics game. They probably will not ding my car or hit me as they back out. People with old cars can swing wide as they back out and swipe me with the front corner of their bumper. There's also the door ding problem. But my main worry is not door dings but the "don't care cuz I have a beater" attitude. Heck, many people in Veeky Forums have seen past posts where people basically say they don't care because they have a beater.

I just double park my car away from everyone else.

As an old truck owner in an area full of vintage pickups,it's easy to blend in.Nobody's messed with it,even if it's a paint scratch it's nothing.Such is polished patina life.

I drive my C6 corvette on the weekends when I want to go out and more often than naught I come back to my car to find more corvettes parked next to me. One time I had 4 corvettes and a mustang decided to park in the middle. I had a pleasant chuckle at that.

>parking next to other cars
>Not seeking out a shady corner with nobody else to disguise your autism
