I need something for maximum comfort in those moments of hell.

Stanced miata

My 2010 Highlander is insanely comfortable. Not the best on fuel but only faggots worry about that kind of stuff. Far more comfortable than my 2012 Mazda3 hatchback

Dont be a pussy.

I used to drive a drift missile to work for 3 months in the summer, 90 minutes each way in shit traffic while my daily was being worked on.

None. Move closer.

>stick
>v8
>lots of power
>drag slicks

how to be a man 101

LS400

Won't be the best on fuel but you will sure as hell be comfy.

>mfw I read this as "I used to drift a missile to work"

Nice aerostar

sometimes that aint an option HOMESLICE

Something with a race clutch

Any sort of fairly large sedan or minivan. A SUV would also be accepted.

Avoid manuals for a DD in shitty traffic.
>inb4 muh manualfags.
Manuals suck flaccid cock in traffic.

Also avoid if you can vehicles with an I4 but not for meme reasons. An I4 doesn't have enough power at idle to really make air conditioning work.

Any automatic luxobarge, because if you're driving in an auto enthusiast hell you might as well get a comfy demon to go with it

>heavy traffic
>1+ hour in start and stop, both ways.
No job is worth this.

there is so much stupid in this post.

>4cyl can't make AC work
kek!

>Manuals suck in taffic
No, they actually don't. They're the only thing that keep things interesting in a long commute. Challenge yourself to shift smoothly. Skip-shifting helps. Allowing a bit of space in front of you and keeping a steady speed means you don't constantly have to stop/go, stop/go.

>They're the only thing that keep things interesting in a long commute.
Not him but manual is simply annoying in stop-go traffic. I also worry like a mother hen over my poor clutch.

Get an auto for heavy traffic DD.

My mom drove 2+ hours each way back in the day. One is nothing. Do it op.

>implying idiots around you will allow you to have space ahead.
I don't think you have ever driven through any major metropolitan areas during high rush hour.

Your pissant little burg you call a city doesn't count.

>Your pissant little burg you call a city doesn't count.
Europlebs fucking rekt

>create distance in front of me so that I can cruise as long as possible
>someone immediately cuts inside and takes up that newly created space
GODDAMIT

>it's a bikefag
>he waves at you to move up because he's straddling lanes anyway
Bikerbros are my favorite

How much is your sanity worth?

Buy a small rv or conversion van and sleep in the nearest walmart parking lot. Shower at work if possible or get a y membership. No job is worth a shitty commute like that.
