Because I want the medal and theatrical experience. It just isn't the same watching the movie on my monitor then it is in a big room with a large screen and popcorn.

I'll give the Swampy Marsh theme this: It sounds way better in YW2 than it did in the first game. It's still bad but it's at least not terrible this time.

Gera Gera Po doesn't explain to a new viewer what Yo-kai Watch is about. It's gone and it's not coming back.

The movie's not going to have it, the opening isn't going to change (song-wise) again, and the games will have it in the future.

We're not supposed to care because we're adults. We're supposed to be embarrassed about enjoying a childrens' franchise and complaining about the localization changes is supposed to be embarrassing because it could bring attention to our ages.

How are they gonna cut it from the movie? They straight up do the dance. The only way they'd get away with it is cutting that sequence entirely.

Also people who think it's okay to be lazy while putting out media just because it's for kids are people I don't care about.

They'll do the dance, but they'll cut out the music and play Swampy. Kids won't know what the fuck the dance is.

No, nor can you switch your team and our Blasters roster compared to PAX's is pathetic.

It is a pretty light demo. We got three "boss" battles but they werent really like a lot of actual bosses with the pin mechanic being more heavily used and being more difficult. Like you didnt really feel the pressure of having to use food consistently or see how helpful talismans can be.

Second arrow looks more exact than the first roll, but what is the point of it if it only works on successful catches?

Honestly, I feel that the majority of Yokai look like they stepped out of the Mother series, that's part of why I like it so much.

It works similarly to extroverted Ogama and introverted Oyamori.

Considering the opposite personalities in place, it's a shame that the facial expressions on the recolored frog and spider boys weren't changed: frowning Oyamori and smiling Jorogumo, to contrast smiling Ogama and frowning Tsuchigumo.

Why are the Komas so cute?

A little bit. For once items aren't locked and you can shuffle your team order a bit, but feeding/recruiting enemies are disabled. You can also give yokai item equipment. There's still a lack of a true boss battle, but there are 2 hidden fights against the frog and spiderboy that can be challenging.

Thing is, if you follow the plot straight without exploring the demo will be over really quick, so make sure to go out and sight see. Fishing game was also improved.

Even Codename: Steam is still like 30$ in stores last i checked.

The demo for YW2 isnt all that great of a representation of the experience but it's probably better than the first. If you like monster collectors or exploring a large overworld in a story driven experience i would say you'll enjoy it. The last game was already pretty big but the sequel added more areas as well as the ability to go back in time and experience the location with a new look.
