4age motorcycle

Want to build a motorcycle with a 4age engine
What generation should I use
Thoughts on FI?

I'm a 6th year engineering major , won't graduate but I'm bored

the 4age itself weighs as much as a motorcycle
why would you want a slow heavy piece of shit?

Engineering major has nothing to do with it. Save your time and graduate already.

>revs high
>lotsa power
>can take boost
I'll just do weight reduction

This is all sorts of stupid, and no you won't

It revs really low for a motorcycle, makes less power and similar torque, and you're not going to shave 200 lbs. You're way out of your depth

>revs high
nowhere near as high as the average motorcycle engine

>lotsapower
lolno

>can take boost
not really

for a '6th year engineering major' youre a real dumb fuck

I'll make the bike out of carbon fiber
I can do it and I will
>graduate
Don't want to

Corey pls go

The 4AGE is a pretty heavy engine for its size. Iron block..

>lolno
It's pretty fair amount for a motorcycle. But yeah, it's a terrible idea.

The whole experiment is about iron block for motorcycles
I want to do this but everyone is triggered

A more modern engine would be Better. You can get 1.6 bikes n/a with more power that you don't need to over engineer the chassis for.

Absurd. That's stupid

>boost
You need to ride a bike in order to understand how little space there is for that shit

Too heavy, wrong power characteristics for a bike and it'd be a complete shitshow to mount up to a bike frame.

How are you going to get the power to the wheel? How are you going to keep it cool? How are you going to package it in the bike?

tl;dr no

just get a GSF1200 user

>too heavy
>water cooled

You're a 6th year and you can't think of this very basic stuff? You need to get your money back kiddo

This is a terrible idea and I'm a huge 4ag fanboy.

> won't graduate

I can see why.

Go the other way around and swap a sportbike engine into an ae86 or mr2. Either way, you're in way over your head if you make a bike out of a 4age. You may be an engineer but you're not a welder, fabricator, or mechanic

>REVS HIGH
>LOTSA POWER
>TAKES BOOST

Wtf is alot of power to you? a lawnmower? you would be much better off with a k20 that makes 200hp right off the bat in stock form and is lighter by atleast 50 pounds. Even then your gearing would be retarded, a fully built k20 would be maintinance heavy at 10k rpm daily.

And thats not even breaking into the fact your clutch system would protrude out the side of the bike to run the chain, and your alternator would be sticking off the front still run by a belt (which your legs just so happen to be sitting right by.

This is a bad idea.

200hp is what modern 998cc bike engines make anyway, and they rev to 14,000rpm.

>Want to build a motorcycle with a 4age engine
Why? You want a heavy cantturn motorcycle?

>revs high
Not for a motorcycle engine
>lotsa power
Not NA. Any NA 4AGE that isn't a full race build probably makes less power than a stock literbike
>can take boost
Irrelevant, any engine can take boost
>I'll just do weight reduction
A 4AGE alone weighs as much as a sportbike you dumb nigger

>200hp is what modern 998cc bike engines make anyway
No
The fastest production motorcylces are making 130-180 hp, most n/a, usually 11-1200 ccs.

Turdbobusa is the exception, not the rule.

>Irrelevant
I'd say it's relevant, but there's literally no physical space to FI an engine in most motorcycles without dank fabrication.
Even then, a lot of motorbikes are strung out to where they can't take shit for boost.

This is obviously a troll thread, lol @ everyone posting seriously.

There's no way an engineering student would think about putting a car engine on a bike and think it would work.

I just graduated engineering school, you'd be shocked at how stupid some of the turbo-nerds that ace all of their math-heavy classes are. I wouldn't put it past the average engineering student to be 100% clueless on anything remotely automotive. These kids can get an A in diff EQ but couldn't replace a water pump on an old pickup truck.

You people act like I've never worked on cars or anything before
The point of this isn't to make a fast bike.
Fuck off benchracers

Yeah the point of it is to have a giggle by pretending to be a retard who thinks putting a 400lb engine in a motorcycle is a good idea.

>6 years
>more knowledgable in math and physics than 98% of the human race
>can't immediately see why this is an awful idea

I like the way you think though. What you really want to do is this.

If you dont like it why are you even here
Looks cool. i don't want it though

>If you dont like it why are you even here
I do like it, this troll is mediocre but it is funny.

Ten years ago, sure. 2016 S1000RR makes 200hp.

oh, my apologies, i wasn't aware but still that's a top of the line bike.

R1 and ZX10R both make about 200hp as well. 1100 and 1200s aren't really even a thing in top performance bikes anymore.

If you want top of the line Honda RC213VS makes 215hp.

I must have been under a rock the last few years m8

There's also a 310hp supercharged liter made by Kawasaki.

Nigga that's a gundam dont lie

if americans build fuck huge v8 bikes, why not?

Because they're retarded.
Disclaimer: I'm American

at a certain point they stop being bikes.

No, you're unamerican

...

Mobile Suit: Kawa

I could see like an rx7 engine on a bike

Norton did put a Wankel in a bike.

It's garbage.
