Also something I should have included: where would you want it on the sliding scale between race car and luxury?

Far left being basically zero luxuries or features, just enough to make it street legal. Far right is luxury GT car with everything you could want.

Race car, fuck street legality entirely.

Luckily it's already been built. Price varies depending on race history.

yes - lightweight, 1 mile range, 50hp hybrid for low speed traffic and improving throttle response

hydraulic power steering
carbonfibre monocoque, interior (like the P1), body, suspension arms, brakes, clutch, wheels

Something similar to the 911R interior in terms of style and quality, wouldn't be fussed about features as long as they don't weigh much (like software stuff) and can be switched off easily

Just gonna weld two LS1s together and throw it in the tray of a Commodor ute. Mad skids and highway pulls, cunt

Drop the 4.0 from a 991 GT3 in there, keep everything else exactly as it is.

is that engine very bulletproof? it seems so high strung...

I don't think there have been any major issues with the 4.0. The fire related recall was for the 2014 GT3 3.8.

Considering the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 version gets use in the GT3 R and RSR, I would have full confidence in it's ability to not grenade itself.

The newer 4.0 mill from the 991 GT3 RS has a higher redline (8,500 vs 8,800), though I'm not familiar with the mechanical differences between the two.
