Team not allowed to use radio to help drivers solve problems

>team not allowed to use radio to help drivers solve problems
>drivers only allowed full aero within 1s of opponent
>cars not allowed more than 20cm off curbs on overruns
>only allowed one change of line to defend a pass
>all drivers hate each other

wtf is this shit

why does anyone watch F1

>only allowed one change of line to defend a pass

This one, in race series that aren't boring, is fucking annoying.

Good question

F1 is trash, but rules aren't what makes it so.
Go drive instead of watching someone else do it.

Because it's still pretty high action and exciting otherwise.

Rally is king. Or really any time of offroading. I feel like most racing done on paved roads has too many rules, and street racing barely ever happens in a place where the drivers don't have to hold themselves back.

m/c racing = top tier motorsport

>Because it's still pretty high action and exciting otherwise.

Nope. Exciting races are the exception, not the norm

if i want to watch a renault struggle to pass a mercedes for 45 minutes i'll just hit the nearest single carriageway

>drivers only allowed full aero within 1s of opponent
I don't think you understand how this works

why not just let the drivers decide when to trade off rear end downforce for top speed? Why limit it to passing?

Bernie is trying to kill F1 is what that shit is.

No it isn't its is horse and pony show, Even the shumacher era was better.

F1 died decades ago.
now is only watched by faggots and casuals.

>get into f1 because capeta
>watch f1
>read this shit

what the fuck man

WEC>F1

>street racing barely ever happens in a place where the drivers don't have to hold themselves back.

basically this, Motorcycle racing emphasizes the rider much more than car racing emphasizes the driver in terms of end speed so you get far more interesting results.

And of course, motorcycles are much thinner in general than cars so on courses you could never imagine overtaking on a car with bikes can slip up the inside quite well.

to me F1™ should relay more on active system as the name suggest can adjust in real time

if they would "to reduce laptimes by at least 7 sec" they should be focusing on reducing drag
and increasing overall stability

this way if every drived had car with at least two piece active rear wing or front wing it would
reduce costs of developing new wing for every race.
active suspension would shave another 1.5-2.5sec of laptime not mention ability to tune suspension on the fly and not machining hundreds of useless parts per season
GPS adjusted settingns that were used some time ago in MotoGP would also a nice touch to offload drivers

it would quickly eliminate blowing half budget on 500 different evolutions of front and rear wing, floor.
and lack of engine power could be at compensated by software

read full rules of WEC they aren'rt really that open, it's basically socialism

i'm not really into bikes but motogp is way more exciting to watch than F1

And Motogp is the most boring class of road racing!

Underrated post kek

Balls of steel

Renault on suicide watch

this shit is fucking boring, at least in car racing, you can see them crash and blow into pieces or catch on fire.
bikes just fall on their side and you see the guy sliding in the road and onto the grass/dirt.

b8 but it's still wrong b8

...

wow so amazing.
go fuck yourself.

look at that faggot get scared of fire.

I never really cared about watching races on tv, but its completely diffrent when you are there in person.
Even if you dont care about the race itself, its still cool to see the cars.

>40+ car grid when?

It would make it sooooo much better on these 3mi-4mi road coarses

>get proven wrong
>hurr durr go fuck yourself
>but its completely diffrent when you are there in person.
>Even if you dont care about the race itself, its still cool to see the cars.

Just came from Limerock, can confirm.

>have rain tires
>not allowed to drive when it's raining
