is that ellowas?

This game seems fun. Wish they'd just give everyone all the cards so you weren't left in the dust right off the bat if you joined late.

Here.

How long until blizzard patches this?

why would they patch it, the game is rigged to give you a 50% win rate

If Gul'dan is forever the zoo class, then fine.

Here's a compilation of how this game is fun user, so you can have an idea

Haven't gotten that many WotoG packs, but r8 my lego pulls so far.

Oh yeah btw, I fucKING CRAFTED VEKLOR AND NZOTH MYSELF. I DONT HAVE BRM CARDS FOR DRAGON DECKS BEN YOU FUCK.

Does anyone have a video of a famous streamer (don't remember the name of the guy) that was playing on legend.

In the video he went against a druid that made an absurd Fandral play and went like +5 in a single turn and from there the tilt was so much that he went from legend 5 to 500 or something like that.

He was so mad that he started to scream and also had a bitch fight with a female streamer at the same time.

Got your back

It has my favority hearthstone quote:
>What the fuck I am already dead! This game sucks IT'S TURN THREE!!!

T H I C C

Thanks bro.

It's incredible how salt inducing is this game holy shit.

I play magic, and getting mana screwed is baby stuff compared to how bullshit this game can be sometimes

What are some foreign card VAs that are better than the English version?

I like C'Thun's Mexican attack.

I play Magic and Yugioh once per year on Nats too and I agree, in both games I have never ever got the same level of salt compared to one single day on ladder, and that's saying something considering how fucking unbalanced and screwed the second is.

leg drop rate on old gods feels much lower than classic

Link the forum post?

New player here, what's a "tempo" deck?

Its the cancer killing this game

This has honestly been some pretty comfy laddering. Anyone got any advice for the deck?

I was pretty sad to swap out Cabal for the Wyrm, but I needed more dragon activators

it's codeword for play on curve decks that curve out at 6 mana

Yesterday Freeze Mage was the cancer killing the game.

>Tempo

>Tempo deals with the resources that you gain every turn, but do not possess initially. The most common of these is mana. The most important thing to remember about Tempo is that it is all of your resources that are temporary (hence the name). These are advantages that will dissipate naturally.

>At the beginning of a game you have no mana and no ability to generate mana. During Stage 1, you just don't have the mana you need to work with. As the game progresses, you are able to build up your resources to a point where you can actually cast your spells. This is Stage 2 and the most common way of getting there is by playing land.

>Tempo is more than just the mana spent on spells, however. It is the manipulation of any resource that you gain over time, but do not start with. This can include the playing of land, untapping permanents, attack phases, and so on, as well as denying your opponent of these.

>The key to understanding tempo is to evaluate everything in terms of how much this resource is worth right now. To take tempo away from your opponent is to give yourself tempo, but this matters not at all if you don't do anything with it.

>When you are building a tempo-based deck, the key is to figure out what advantage you are gaining as a result of the tempo you are producing. A Faeries deck gains tokens and cards, but also very much takes advantage of all of the extra attack phases it gets. (When you are beating down with 1/1s and 2/2s, you need all the attack phases you can get!)

Taken from Next Level Magic.

Sap instead of Assassinate
Preparation instead of Shadowstep

Spending all your mana each turn

Man, even when I play magic and have those un-interactive games because I didn't drew my sideboard cards, even then, its still not as salt inducing as your Rag missing face/a specific minion or opp mc tech snatching your bomb minion while you had 3 other shitty ones

At least in Yugioh you can drop Snow Ogre and Veiler on your opponent's degenerate Turn 1 bullshit

> tfw opponent draws all the good cards and I draw all the bad cards

Stranded#1729 Americas

Have Play a Friend and Watch and Learn.

yfw you get that dank value

>tfw I've opened 3 Nu deathwings

It's an aggro deck that was named by a former magic player such as reynad (see ).

Same crafts + yogg, pulled veklor 2 weeks after crafting him, and pulled faendal and 2 Rogue poison spiders. It's so disheartening seeing you got a leg only to see it be a repeat

This weekend I had to deal with Ad Nauseam, Naya Burn and some other combo decks on a local tournament.
Most of the games were like if I brick or I don't draw my sideboard before he sets up Im fucked, and it happened a couple of times and others I did sack my opponents but I never felt salty and they didn't either.
You could just brush it off as how Modern goes.

Then in Yugioh most games were rock paper scissors, I open my combo you lose on t1-3, oh you had a Hand Trap I guess I lose instead.
Sorry son I won game 1, you game 2 I won the match because I start the game 3.
It's frustrating because the only way to beat degenerate shit is to use more degenerate shit, but well you don't feel so bad either, that´s how Yugioh rolls, fast formats with hard control using absurdly fast decks.

But then you be winning by a landslide on HS, like almost 99% imposible to lose, and something like Leeroy topdeck with double PO, Yogg into 10 positives for my opponent or 10 negatives for me. all the fucking pings from Flame Wonker into face, like what the fuck is this shit.

Crommagy is pretty good with priest. Nice big body you can heal and draws extra cards off northshire and pw shield.
Barnes also pretty strong for sometimes creating an instant thread if not cleared, or just ends up a 4 mana 4/5 of stats.

People who use yogg in ranked should literally kill themselves

shamans should kill themselves

daily reminder that malygos druid isn't new and has been around for a while

> tfw opponent plays card that I have removal for

What? You havent sacrificed a goat to the old gods this month?

I am actually mad as fuck I lost to this stupid shit

Same with midrange shaman
Sometimes it feels like 2015 again

This

I don't know what's up with this game that makes everything feels so much worse

Just like you said. Sometimes you just doesn't draw your answer against Storm for example and you lose, but then you just shake it off, talk with your opponent and go to the next match

But losing to lethal from hand or yogg in HS is just rage inducing

Open question to the whole general.

Would the implementation of Hand Traps in this game (specifically something like Effect Veiler) help the game and turn it more healthy and skilled?

Or people on the playerbase of this game dislikes interaction for some reason?

The fact that dropping a dream from Ysera would've swinged the game triggers me

I usually tab out to porn and masturbate during the opponents turn

>Or people on the playerbase of this game dislikes interaction for some reason?

They do, people from this same general said stuff like instants or blocking phase is dumb

>better version of Flame Imp
Okay buddy. This is neither imaginative nor fair.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was in an expansion. Typical rng power creep shit.

>better version of Flame Imp
Not necessarily. A vanilla 3/2 isn't the best thing you could get off it, but it's nowhere near the worst either. A lot of minions with battle cries are going to be 1/1s or 2/2s.

OTK priest is fun

It's an awful deck, and I wouldn't dare play it on ladder, but it's fun.

Why do you put bad cards in your deck?

Hardly better. The best you can get is memehouse as a 4/4, but you can also get shitty 2 drops like novice engineer.

>every card is good in every matchup

Post dick, There is a version for Kharazan only?

Shadow Reno Priest is also great, you win 1 out of 5 games, but that one game is great

Non-automated interaction during the opponent's turn is purposely limited for the same reason the rope exists: it keeps games to a reasonable length.

Just stop and think for a second, how long would a turn be if after every single play, the game had to be paused so that your opponent has a chance to do something?

tell that to thrall

>release tech cards against decks you've already killed
>rig matchmaking to make sure they are 300% useless
Is Uncle Ben trying to give us another lesson on good and bad cards? Stop using tech cards and just play OP cards on curve, see your winrate improve drastically?

When the new expansion is coming?

After this game funeral

whens the elf slut coming out

>Kharazan only?
Impossible, the OTK can only work if Thaurissan gets you a discount on Velen + your nukes.

this is what you're missing out on by not playing wild instead of standard. what's your excuse?

Is there any reason why this is a secret? Would anything change if the text for this "Gain 8 armor"?

You can play around it with burst from hand.

>secret shitter
My excuse is you :^)

>Need to shit so bad
>Warrior keeps roping
FUCK

>1 mana, pay 2 health to summon Novice Engineer without the Battlecry

Sure, better than Flame Imp.
There is literally no reason for Gul'dan to play that unreliable shit when you have the most consistent deck in the game.

>Just stop and think for a second, how long would a turn be if after every single play, the game had to be paused so that your opponent has a chance to do something?

I play control on Magic Duels and most of the games don't go past 5 minutes most of the times bare some exceptions, and when there is the exceptional 15 minute game, they are always nailbiters with comebacks from both sides that feel satisfying even if you lose

Time being an excuse is pure bullshit, specially because in HS you play 10 quick games that don't feel satisfying where in other games you play longer matches that you get a lot more satisfaction from

I remember when Deuling Network was a thing, and you had to really quickly type "wait" if you wanted to do something. Or often, "wait, I wanted to do something 2 cards ago."

What Druid deck is the best in this meta?

Not a compelling reason. Why is warrior/druid (feral rage) armor generation not a secret? Why not make every spell a secret? Just seems arbitrary since you're not reacting to what a player is doing.

MMMMmmmmm... I guess its time to de the filthy normal one now...

remember that HS's audience, unlike most cardgames, is not "fat neckbeards"
sorry i guess, but the demographic vidya devs aim for is completely different and does not want anything close to magic in any way, shape, or form

february

Certain cards interact with secrets. Some are stronger if you've got one, some destroy your opponents.

ITS ME AUSTIN

That is so sad, because the "fun" cards they make for the casual audience is the cancer killing this game for anyone interested in a more deeper game

How? We need the 3rd one this year or standard will have too few cards, won't it?

I don't really enjoy the additional layers that Magic has, and that's the reason I actually play Hearthstone.

Why do you people come here to cry how HS isn't like MTG when you can just go and play MTG? Some of us actually play the game because we enjoy it... well, at least the core of it. I admit there are quite a few balancing issues.

i havent played magic duels in over a year since its initial release, anything I should know if I want to get back into it?
I played some BR perilous myr deck that became meta, have they even bothered to add new expansions?
All i saw during the early days were mass downtimes and peoples accounts getting cleared and that spooked me away from the game

I dont want toplay this shadowverse crap and gwent seems simplistic as well

because they are now averaging 4-6 months inbetween releases

Mage needs a few secrets for their secret-based cards to work off of. Yes it's arbitrary, but there needs to arbitrarily be at least a few

>is not "fat neckbeards"
You remind me of that tournament with full range of autists, gay kid and fat underage boy too young to grow a beard. HS audience is just as bad even if it's marketed as casual game for decent normies.

>Not a compelling reason.
it's very relevant in the freeze mirror

it's also thematic to pair it with ice block and mage has a few secret synergy cards so they need worthwhile secrets

>unironically taking away something from what little depth there is left in hearthstone

> tfw my tallboyfriend lets me win at Hearthstone

naw, how do you think that minibot became a 3/3? :^)

secrets aren't even that bad compared to standard aggro shaman, it's a tier 1 deck don't get me wrong but plenty of decks match up well against them and there is so much deck variety in the format that i can't even remember the last time i saw one all the way to now rank 10.

i mean look at the tools you have to deal with secret shitters in wild vs. aggro shamans in standard, it's like night and day. zombie chow, deathlord, healbot, lightbomb... SO MANY good cards exist to actually deal with aggro that are nonexistent in standard right now. or you can just out aggro them, hell even midrange hunter might arguably be better than secrets because you still get an insane 6 drop with n'zoth value but you have a better hero power and don't have to have shitty secrets taking up slots.

Eternal is pretty much a Magic clone and works well as far as I've tested it out. Didn't bother playing too much because I don't really enjoy it as much as HS.

But it's in beta so you might have to wait for a key.

People can enjoy both games

There was a time I played more HS than mtg and I enjoyed each game for its own aspects, but the recent meta is pure bullshit and some of the problems could be easily be solved with just an extra layer of interactivity or downgrading some of its FUN aspects

The saddest part is that's not even necessary since nobody needed cards like yogg and all the OP shit they've pushed out recently, they could easily have gone for their desired audience without totally shitting all over competitive, streamers, serious players, etc

they'll have to fix that, fortunately an expansion is no problem since if you don't plan on doing any testing or balancing it doesn't require anywhere near 4 months

Competitive HS players are not their target audience. Hence why they don't listen to them or care about massively alienating them a la yogg.

>implying you can force a meme in 2016

Can one waifu a card?

Because it adds some depth because the opponent doesn't know what secret it is so he has to slowly play around until he realizes which is it.

Also there is that 4 mana 3/3 that gets attack and health if you have a secrete at the end of the turn.

Even though the game still crashes from time to time, they fixed most of the in-game bugs and know they release expansions like one month after the printed sets

They are up to date with the standard sets, the only problem is that if you comeback you won't have most of the cards and will probably have to grind a little to get them, but you can grind on the offline mode which sometimes can be faster then versus real people

i want her to stomp on my penis with those boots

I never realized that she is riding on her sword, like she's harry potter or some shit. What a dumb bimbo.
