The first shot of Medusa's PV that had her launch herself into battle with her chains had me thinking she'd be WAY more maneuverable than the rest of the video showed her to be. I was hoping you'd be able to fucking leap around the battlefield with them.

Helena first if you want a support unit, NR first if you want an offensive Caster.
You can opt to not level Medea Lily unless you want to run a healer.

It's a flashy lawn mowing simulator, you aren't supposed to have expectations.

NR's damage is pretty lackluster if you don't have ways to passively generate stars for her. NP2 helps, though.

I would say that I hate that kind of mindset, but I think the main reason I can actually enjoy FGO is because I temper the fuck out of my expectation for it.

Not that Helena's NP is particularly strong, but her first and third skills at least help other Servant's charge and boost their NPs.

He's definitely not the worst 4-star Saber, but that sunlight buff is way too situational for my tastes.

Even without sunlight his damage is decent enough, when the sun IS out he is pretty amazing btu without it he's still pretty good bcause of his third skill and his first skill reguardless of sunlight gives him a solid attack buff.

Mostly because 4* sabers aren't very offensive or straight up trash

As far as AoE Sabering goes the only 4* Saber that beats him is Alter.

Without sun he still has a 32% ATK bonus if you max out Charisma, and a 20% NP charge skill. So I guess he's still alright.

He has an AoE NP, though. Most Sabers do, though, so I guess that's fine.

They might've splurged on making Excalibur look good or something.

I have him, he's kinda mediocre a lot of time. His place on tier lists is generally accurate with him being upper-middle of the road for 4*s. Gains a lot of NP from arts but only one arts one quick card, so his NP, while pretty good, isn't going to come up often without external sources.

He's got fairly good skills though. First gives him a huge damage boost if it's a sunlight map due to 3 buster cards, second can make him useful even on maps that aren't sunlight when combined with first giving him respectable damage increase and team damage increase. Third is an all around great utility skill.

He's definitely worth taking if you need a solid saber even if it's not a sun map. but he only truly shines in the sun, which is not all that often.

Saber Alter exists. Her Prana Burst doesn't rely on the stage, and her NP multiplier is WAY higher. She can't rely on a skill to charge NP but she has two Arts cards to make up for it. And her stats are all around higher. And she has a pretty good bond CE.

Rama is pretty decent too. Not spectacular, but solid. He has some hefty crit damage potential on the right team.

Amakusa CE bond effect: whole team gets extra 20% damage to ghosts and demons.

Astolfo: NP damage 30% up and the whole team gets a 1 time dodge ala David's harp.

He's similar to Lancelot, but with a survival ability, he can do more damage in one turn contrary to Lancelot, he also can't make stars.

I don't really agree. Assuming it's the same "undead and demon enemies" that his Baptismal Sacrament targets, it's a very small collection of enemies. Compare that to MHX's bond CE targeting ALL SABERS or Beowulf's targeting all Dragons.

At this point people've pretty much mentioned every 4* Saber as being pretty good in some niche other than Lily and Sumanai though.
