Just got DS3. The start is so under whelming compared to BB in my opinion. Going to wear this game out then back to BB.

I agree. I almost quit before the huge tree boss. It just was not as fun as i'd expected.

Play through once, NG+ if you care, it's all I cared to do. There's some good parts to it, but the parts are better than the whole by far.

The combat in DaS3 is a lot different than combat in BB. It does have its merits but I won't be surprised if you wind up preferring BB's.

Remember when /bbg/ earnestly believed we were getting a stealth Bloodborne sequel because of Leonhardt's set and the swamp beast looking like a Cleric Beast and shit? Those were happier times.

I can't believe I fell for the Bloodtinge build meme lads. The Shitkage just is not a fun weapon compared to all the others out there. Plus there are no other melee weapons to use other than the Bloodletter which I wasn't planning this build for anyway.
