By testing out everyone in training mode and check out all of their moves. I tend to gravitate towards rushdown, simple combos, or decent normals.

revelator is pretty fun (though i havent played anyone online yet) just doing trials, but i feel like i wont ever be able to execute these in an actual match
Revelator, I'll most likely just lab since the netcode isn't great especially when playing high execution characters but I might netplay with my locals or try and play some sets with one of the better sins in the west so I can learn the MU
Then again maybe disabled depth of field is a blessing?

Honestly for most cases you don't need advanced trials in match, but the basic ones yes it is shit you do all the time at all levels.
