Guns are still a good idea but that doesn't mean they have to be on a BB.

Don't do that, at least not at the start of the match. I like to fire my guns so I get detected earlier. Once enemies start shooting back, you can position yourself appropriately. If no one shoots, you're probably spotted by a lone IJN DD, which you can obviously roflstomp.

Being your team only CV and being AFK the whole match IS actively malicious. He does it quite regularly. If he does launch planes its never before the 15:00 mark.

Please help me to SV Cruiser. I'm at the Kirov, and while at first she seemed like a great ship I'm now noticing her flaws, like how she's incredibly shit at securing kills and absolutely disintegrates after just a single ANGLED BB salvo.

I get focused so fucking hard every game because I'm such an easy kill that I have to sit at the edge of my range and basically pray for fires to do any damage whatsoever. Any time I get even 1% confident I can get closer, BWOOSH, one shotted.

Are all the Cruiser lines like this or is this one just particularly bad about it? If it even exists, which Cruisers are closer range and better able to take hits. I understand they aren't Battleships, but I'd like something without paper armor if possible.

jesus christ that sounds like awful gameplay. Is that really all Cruisers do, just sit way back and hope one of your shells causes a fire? Should I just be happy with fires and not care about kills anymore with cruisers? One the rare occasion I get a broadside closish range I switch to AP but that's super rare, even rarer I get to use my torps to any affect.

If there's any Soviet Cruiser captains out there can you give me some tips. I listened and am not bothering with USN and while JP has great fire chance I liked the idea of the more rounded Soviet ships. They just melt really badly under fire, like almost worse than my Farragut or Gnevy.

I can't make strike bouge work, and as AS bouge I can get Clear Sky, top the team for XP, keep DDs permaspotted and even manage a kill off of DBs and the team still loses

Meanwhile Zuiho is so easy to win with and it's fast enough to keep up with the rear of the fleet instead of getting stranded alone

Typically I just stay alt-tabbed for the first 5 minutes or so and then join in when the enemy has been spotted and damaged a bit. That way I can get the kills. Is this frowned upon here?
