Maintenance General

What needs to be done to your car, Veeky Forums?

>Go to take off my wheel to change brake pads
>My tire iron bends like a pipe cleaner because the jackasses at the auto shop who put the wheel back on last time tightened it too tight

Brakes (front and rear, pad and drum respectively), possibly tie rods (steering pulls to the right, 99% sure it's not wheel allignment issue), oil change, shocks for the rear hatch, get the suspension checked out (get some wheel rub when I turn the wheel all the way to the left (might be my shitty fenders), and the wiring for the speed gauge (occasionally likes to sit at 0mph for a bit)

I tried this earlier

Oil change soon. Probably change the tranny oil. Maybe spark plugs.
>my car is 2015

>previous owner put lowering springs on the front of my ep3
>as a result it kinda handles like shit and bounces up and down on rough roads
>I really need that new suspension
The tires on the car are new, but shitty. I am wondering whether I should get new ones or trash these first

Driver's side tie rod end on my truck.

Oh god here we go

>brakes
>wheel bearings
>cv axle
>exhaust manifold
>A/C compressor + system
>tires

I am considering just buying a new car and keeping this one as a backup.

(cont.)

>also ball joints and tie rods.

...goddamnit

>need a cigarette lighter and one wheel cover nut
>sunroof is stuck half-open on "closed", doesn't leak but the wind noise is annoying at highway speeds
>need my wheels checked because speeds over 75 get bumpy as fuck
That's about it

>2004 Tacoma, 201,000 miles
>front rotors are warped
>passenger mirror is broken
>speakers in passenger door stopped working
>tach backlight went out
>shocks need replacing
>one license plate light is out
>one corner light is out

> inner and outer tie rods on both sides
> leaf spring shackle
> tires
> oil change probably spark plugs
> found a hole in my frame right above drivers side back tire
> overdrive button
> new bench seat and/or seat belt buckle

I need to fix my sunroof and vacuum the water off the carpets. Fucking sunroofs.

Redoing the front suspension. One shock just finished up tonight, doing the other tomorrow. Everything else is cleaned up and painted with new ball joints and bushings. Also have new brakes.

Remove the DCI and tuner so I can say it's full stock, then sell it once the title shows up. Miata here I come.

>151k miles 96 Ford Contour
>due for oil change in about a thousand more miles
>rear passenger side wheel/suspension is noisy as fuck
>need to figure out how to jack it up and take the tire off to check it out
>should probably check the other fluids, just topped off the oil a week ago because slow leak

maybe I'll clean out the engine bay sometime too, who knows

>just put in new upstream 02 sensor
>gas gauge may be stuck at full, too early to tell
>need to patch tiny hole in soft top
>clutch rubber on pedal is worn to the point of coming off
>drivers side window squeals like fuck coming back up
>eventually need to change ac belt

>window regulator
>A/C recharge
>oil change
>shocks
>tie rod
>bushings

oil change and car cleaning

Rear wiper doesn't work so I bought a delete kit.
Also ordered new wipers and concentrated washer mix on the cheap.

I had to leave work tonight because my car wouldn't stop overheating. I hope u fixed it though. Replaced the thermostat and a leaky hose.

I wish this shit wouldn't happen when my bank account is literally empty. Looking good on my test drive so far though. The needle moved up just a little bit when I turned the AC on but it went back down shortly.

>timing chain tensioner
>Driver side window
>A/C servicing
>SRS airbag cover replacement
>Tune-up

>staring to see bugs so I'm gonna find a way to get rid of them

>Steering wheel is upside down and needs steering adjustment
>Need licence plate lights
>Brakes
>Oil change
'96 F-150 XLT bought for $860 not to long ago, best deal I ever had with the condition it's in.

>timing belt cuz 43k miles on a car from 2002
>dsi clip
>brakes
>shifter cables

from those 4 things you can guess what it is
