Wrong. Mystics have been tweaked in such a way that makes them easy to play and totally viable in both a skilled group and a group that's learning mechanics. The only benefits a priest still has in terms of badass carry-healing are divine intervention (which pisses people off more often than it saves lives; nine times out of ten, people who seem in a bad spot know what they're doing and don't require sudden intervention) and kaias shield which has a piss poor amount of blockable damage and doesn't work against one shot mechanics like a ninja's smokebomb does for example. Priests are in a terrible place right now, and the only reason they're brought along is if friends of the priest simply don't care (which, admittedly, happens a lot -- but at that point we enter the realm of subjectivity) or if there's a duo heal thing going on. On an objective basis, priest is such a poor option in almost every regard and you're basically gimping your party if you play one and don't do everything right (i.e. mana off cooldown, perfect upkeep of triple nem and energy stars, shit that 3/4 priests don't fucking do).

Can't tell if you're trolling or misinformed but I'll bite. Mystics have a variant of all of those skills. Priests have mana charge; mystics have corruption ring, and CR is actually a better mana regen skill than the priest version. Priests have triple nemesis, which lasts 12 seconds and gives a 10% debuff. Mystics have volley of curses which lasts 22 seconds and gives a 9% endurance debuff. Now you might say "muh 1 percent difference," but to make up for that they also have their crit aura which priests do NOT have, that further boosts dps output. AND they have a SECOND endurance debuff, contagion, which adds another 4% debuff albeit on a relatively long cooldown. Priests have energy stars, and I'm really glad you brought that up because it's a skill that has to be actively cast off cooldown. The mystic variant is passive, an aura, meaning you don't even need to cast it. As long as the mystic's alive, so is the buff. And the difference in effectiveness? A small amount of attack speed lost. Paltry when you consider the crit aura buff that stacks with the passive power buff in play 100% of the fight.
This is what I meant when I said that a priest must play absolutely perfectly in order to just not gimp their group. A mystic can do everything a seasoned priest can do in terms of debuff upkeep, but they can do it with less skill involved. Their debuffs are longer, or more effective, or don't even require casting. Mana upkeep on a mystic is so easy; one method is passive through auras, another is huge through CR, and a THIRD is through mana motes. Priests have an aoe that gives back a trickle of mana, and a charge on a ridiculously long cooldown.
Again, not sure if you're trolling or just haven't played mystic, but there it is.

Make them a leather class. Leather armor looks really boyish on elins. Giving him a height changer so he's +3, and making sure his thighs aren't too thick might help as well. A kirin appearance gives him short hair too, so he'll look less like a girl. The rest of the face stuff is up to you.

I didn't. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I found brawler (and reaper if we're being honest) to be more complex than most people gave the class credit for. Why do you think there are so many reapers doing shit dps, and so many brawlers who can't hold aggro? Brawler definitely has it easier than lancer in a few areas, but it's not a simple class in my opinion. Otherwise I'd run into a lot less bad brawlers in IMS. Feel free to prove me wrong though, I don't play brawler anyway.
