Can't even be mad at him using heals, his dodges are spot on and he phases through many attacks I thought were unavoidable.

watch someone fight it on youtube to get a good idea

in addition to getting onto it to break parts
practice keeping up the pace with ballistas and cannon shots

you gotta learn the timings for countering his side rams with the binder bullet and horn and the frontal ship battering attack with the dragonator

on the 2nd phase I fire ballista until its in range of the binder then run up with barrel bombs, usually you should be able to make it fall over twice and run over and beat it up

I really like fighting mohrans its mostly about managing cooldowns and aiming properly when you solo

The Glav run is fucking prescient, it's 30 goddamned minutes long and I've watched it three times. He knows e x a c t l y where that creature's bite box is gonna be, every time. He dodges into the direction of the bites because he knows it won't hit him. Truly incredible stuff. I feel like I have maybe half a dozen monsters down to that much precision, but he just whips it out casually every time.

Honestly ,I don't see the appeal in it, other than the whole "I get to have monster friends!" thing.

It is a kid's game. The plot and gameplay won't be too complicated.
Plenty people played the older pokemon games without knowing moonrunes.

Well, allegedly the project began because of enough people asking for content that would be more about the lives of the monsters, rather than the hunters.

I don't see the appeal of Gen either but we got it anyway despite nobody wanting it.

I've always liked those ecology videos for the monsters, having a game with that kind of atmosphere would be pretty cool.
But stories sees them more as "pets" than wild monsters.

I think a game where you see their behavior and how they interact in the wild would be cool, but stories isn't that, it seems.

Is there any way to make monsters spawn for those village quests where you need to kill 20 of those? Running around the map looking for pixels of insects is not fun.

Why would you play a game with ugly moonrunes and nothing you could understand? It's very annoying and makes it less fun.

If nothing else, Stories could be a goldmine for odd reaction images, since its confirmed you can rewatch in-engine cutscenes that change with the way your character looks, and what monsters you have with you.

I hope some of the really big shit is in, like Dalamadur or Shen, and then when you go to look at them they are bigger than the UI so they have their heads cut off unless you zoom out.
