too bad Walt had to die

>there is no billboards fuck off

it's coop
rhymes with poop

Coo-pay, coupe' is a French word, like Americans pronounce 'fillet of fish' as fill-ay, where it's actually fill-it

Coop-ay, a coop is what chickens live in.

Coop because we arent french fucks.

If you say it like toupe I'm gonna assume you're a fucking asspergers-afflicted rubber binky baby bumper and will promptly start clownin' on you

>implying I dont have chickens roosting in my car

Coupé.
You pronounce it like it's written. You burgerclaps can't pronounce foreign words for shit.

>Coupé
>like it's written
It's written coupe. Same as Porsche.

It's written coupé, in french. It's a word of french origin.

Nope.
Most words originate from a different language.
In English, it's coupe.

>diesel fiat

>Nope
lol
It's a word with latin origin (cuppa/cupa) and first used by the french as "coupé."
English-speakers anglicised the word to "coupe."

>it's fwd
>it has 4 doors

>it takes more than 40 seconds to reach 120 mph

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coupé
don't read too much at once

In Canada it's coop-eh.
In Australia it's coop-aye.

it's coop-ay but people either don't know, don't care or they're nigger-lite anti-intellectuals who just dislike talking properly for some reason.

It's actually "cue-peh", if you wanna pronounce it like the french do.

coo-pay

It'za da coopa!

Holy shit that might actually be true

yeah but "aye" is an Irish word, and oz cunt's can't even say it right.....it's not ehy, its oiayyyye

we're discussing how the word is pronounced in English, on an English speaking board. It's Coupe. >Ces't la vie.

It's "c'est" tho.

>You will never hug a scootaloo

>not in English

Aluminium is also actually spelled aluminum, right?

i got that reference.

carry on.

>in America
Coop
>in England or France
Coop-ay
>in other countries
>implying I give a fuck

Fillet is pronounced like "fill-ay" for real, "fill-it" sounds like nothing in French.
I'm French.

chicken coupé
but most people over emphasise

He was going to die anyway.

Coop-ay.

Coop sounds ridiculous.

>sounds ridiculous
Æ

Not in English. Just like the word billet.
I'm English.

>americans are trying to argue with french people on this
>mfw
t. Belgian

>tfw pretentious cunts butcher sounds they cant pronounce rather than just ignoring them

american: IF ENGLISH WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR JESUS ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE

thats a real quote.

americans are fucking retards when it comes to language.

Coupé is the proper pronunciation, but many automakers have used "coup", which is a good substitute. If American, Coup. Is anywhere else, Coupé.

>tfw Canadian
>tfw the tiny shithole I live in is "quaint" and "rustic" to Americans

Isn't coup the word for coup d'état?

No, since that's pronounced "coo"

get back to your containment board

I do it as "coo-pay". I don't car what you think of me. When I ask for a "coo-pay" at the shop, you better show me the ones for sale.

calm your edge, sperglord

Coop
Just like the one in turkey

>I don't car what you think of me

Hahah nice pun friendo

it doesnt even reach 120 kek

Porsh-ueh. Two syllables.

I had a German Porsche mechanic stop me mid sentence to tell me that while I was on the phone with him.

Coupé as in coo-pay. Same goes for Café! think about that.

Coupé and porsché are the same as beyoncé and harambé

coupe = coop
coupé = coopay

franco here, I don't really give a shit and neither should you.

it's all convention. colloquialisms. English barely standardizes anything (tomb? comb? womb? bomb?) so you might as well say what everybody says.

wasnt that a hatchback?

Little deuce coopay you dont know what I've goooot....

Couper is to cut in French, pronounced coop-AY. But, coupe (still a French word!) is pronounced coop because it has no accent. Coupé is pronounced coop-ay. So, if you want to be a fucking pedant about the French pronunciation of things, it should only be coop-ay when it has the accent over the e, or ends with -er. When it is spelled coupe with no accent, it is correct to just say coop, even in French.

>Bongs try and call burgers retards because we pronounced the word coupe properly
>bongs can't pronounced fillet properly while Americans do

Depends if there's a red line under it or not

Apparently irony hasn't reached Europe yet. Interesting.

Its.. BOTH!

It's written Coupe, but it's actually pronounced very similarly to "Four door crossover" with a bit of a nondescript accent.

Jesus Christ dude. Chill down yo!

>americans don't even pronounce billet as billay
wow what the hell is wrong with you guys?
