Why would you want to? It's a over-complicated and weak piece of shit. Cummins or nothing.

It's a V10 diesel

It weighs less and makes almost as much power

It's pointless when a gas V8 crate motor puts out more HP and TQ at the same rpms without needing a rebuild every 20k miles.

can you drop gas heads on it?

Are you like, retarded or something?

Not as retarded as the engineering needed to make that little power with a V10 and 2 turbos.

>a V8 pulls more torque than a V10 diesel
How can you be this retarded?

well there we have it, an actual retard

No, but if you give me one I'll drop it into a Cadillac Fleetwood.

Retard

t. Diesel hater.

Having problems hearing you guys over my 500 ft/lbs of torque at 1700rpm, using a primitive carburetor setup. German engineering is a joke.

>american engines
>winning lemans, f1 or any other championship dominated by the germans

at least you tried, cuck

Sorry, can't hear you over my Mercedes v12 pumping out 730lb-ft

Comparing a race engine to a stock diesel.
Way to go, burgerboy.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pushrods

That VW V10 has more torks than your race engine.
It would even produce more with a remap.

You can't beat diesels on their own game.

Why v10 when you can w12?

...

Actually the 632 makes 740 ft. lbs (500lbs of that being at 1700rpm) and 690hp. It's not a race engine, it runs and drives fine on pump gas.

Feels bad being out-torqued by a gas engine, huh?

F1 cars can run on 88 octane. So does that make it street legal now?

Depends where you live. Here if you got it registered and insured your basically good to go.

I can show you diesel V8s making more than 2000Nm. So what?
I'm talking about production engines.

Retard.

The v10 TDI makes like 700ft/lb with just a ECU tune.

And sounds like this:

It's whack. Just get the Audi 4.2L v8 tdi that makes more torque and power

Proof v8 is king

627 > 500

So what showroom spec production car came with this 'non-race' engine?

KEK love the big stream of oil coming out the exhaust. And you want to go and tune it?

that's 500 at 1700, That's obviously not it's peak torque figure.

Who gives a shit? Were talking about an engine swap here. Why would you swap in some OEM, weak, emissions gimped nightmare when you can use a "normal engine" that out-performs it?

That engine is just a big block crate engine, they're a dime a dozen, nothing special. You could tune a Corvette to get pretty damn close to the torque that VW TDI makes. Face it, it's a bad engine.

>implying diesel engines are noisy

>stream of oil
Is this bait?
