Let's see if anyone can fare a guess.
Guess What Car Based on Engine Pic Thread
So, 16 cams?
16 cams wtf you talking bout willis
Oh, you're right. It'd be 32 cams.
There ya go thinking with your head not your head.
>veryadvancemuchengineering.png
All i know is that's it's American
>easy mode
32 Sams?
Cavalier/grand am/some other gm shitbox
Mustang

Easy as shit
Geo metro or Suzuki Swift
Dunno if its hardmode. Somebody will see it though.
Intake in the back may give it away
Or the file name

t bird?
It's literally a Quad 4.
Voodoo 5.2
Suzuki G10
Toyota V6 something
5.0 Modular DOHC
...

...
Good guess. I figured first was gonna be a mustang.
...
...
in reference to Its a '88 Tbird Sport Coupe 5.0 that I converted to an HO engine. The valve covers I bought from Ford Motorsports to dress it up.
...
...
does it do a good burnout?
...
...
Unfortunately I don't have it any more. With the turbo coupe rear end (went from 2.73 rear gear to 3.55) I put into it it could go pretty well for what it was, but it still had the slushbox AOD in it. It could do a ok burnout but I really didn't beat on it.
Ye
S14 zenki ka-t
supra?
3 series Ferrari of some sort.
Nova?
Vq don't know the displacement
Fancy set up on an LS series engine?
I didn't get any of these so far.
So I'm going to try and make some of mine as hard as possible for everyone else.
1)
its a non-rev up and I believe its out of a 350z.
2)
I think this will be quite hard
I'll give some hints that probably won't help
>UK only trim level of this year and generation
>less than 1900 of my model on the road today that had this engine
>less than 1000 with my specific trim level
>2nd highest power output of the engines produced in the series of engines
>less than 10 bhp difference between the one with the highest output and mine
3)
Muh carbs
>less than 1900 of my model on the road today that had this engine
I should change that to
>less than 1900 of the general trim level on the road today that had this engine
PT shitwagon
I spotted the shoddy workmanship from a mile away.
looks like some type of fackin reno
4)
5)
Wasn't made in Portugal if that's what you mean by PT
yep
6)
SR20DE
7) last one
Mitsubishi l200, the softest most easily broken 4x4
>ford banana engine
Transit van
looks like a pinto engine escort mk1
>yep
Washer bottle and oil cap gave it away.
Age looks to be somewhere in the late 2000s
Engine bay is smaller than the Megane and possibly too small to be a Clio.
Whats smaller than a Clio? Without using google I have no fucking idea.
But thats my guess. A 2008 Renault thats smaller than the Clio.
You're right with late 2000s, but it's newer than 2008
Also, they did actually put this engine in something smaller than a Clio
>voodoo 5.2
I wish hoss
>the softest most easily broken 4x4
Nah. Its easily the best Jap 4x4
>Transit van
yes
>looks like a pinto engine escort mk1
only half right but still very wrong.
pinto is ohc with intake on the right, exhaust on the left.
8) bonus round.
Hard mode (for americans and australians anyway)
107?
The citroen saxos older brother, I had one as a courtesy car years ago.
Well the TU engine was used in plenty of cars, including the Peugeot 107. This one in particular is a Citroen AX.
I've given up.
A couple of hints for this one.
The engine was designed in the 60's and is still manufactured today.
It was used in Cars, Vans, Trucks, Jeeps, 4x4s, Tractors, Forklifts, Military Vehicles, and also dozens of Industrial/Marine applications.
Used in cars from in Portugal, England, Romania, Netherlands, France, Germany, India, and USSR among others.
It has no timing chains or belts and can run for a million miles.
2009 Clio with a 1.6l 130bhp engine
It's a ever so slightly tuned down version of the engine that was found in the Twingo RS 133
NEAT!
I always wondered what the timing marks would look like on a gear driven car. then again how else would it be done?
In either a Tacoma or 4Runner
>I have 2000 4runner
Ye '03 taco
Keeping with timing gear setups, This should be an underhanded pitch
g35\350z
corvair
MKIII Poopra
Pontiac Sunbird?
svo or turbo coupe
Eff Juan
How does that work with only the crank and cam having gears.
How does the rocker keep timing?
pushrod voodoo. Lifters roll on cam, Long pushrods push the rocker arms on the head. Timing is just lining up the marks on the crank gear and the camshaft gear. Its another one of those outlasting cockroaches engines.
Disgusting opel
>nigga that's a camry
A fucking rwd v6 camry
Mitsubishi v6
A 2gr is a Toyota timing chain engine you fucking idiot.
Renault scenic?
Definetly Renault thou. 1.4 engine?
See
mid 90s volvo 900 series
So on the other gear driven engine, what is the purpose of the top gear?
If gear #2 is the cam and the rocker doesn't need its own gear then whats the top one for?
I don't know if this will be easy or hard
The other one I have no clue. I've never setup like before.
