I thought it was cool that they were trying to reduce the size of teams for competitive play seeing as it's much easier to just grab one other person than it is to get a third, even with streamers I watch them struggle to get a 3rd player to plays casual 3s. 2s look cleaner in this game but 3s is the more entertaining format.

Nobody will ever like 2v2 because there isn't a pubber random to blame your losses on, and it's harder for solo players to get games

You will still have big 2v2 tournament entries but 2v2 matchmaking being the focus is dumb

more like 2v2 is just more fucking boring in every aspect
there are less viable team comps, it's more predictable because there are literally less things that can happen, and it pretty much comes down to focus 1 guy and CC the other
