Find one that's not rusted or something similar that's not rusted. Is MPG or space for passengers a concern? You can broaden your horizons a bit if not.

if you truly want a new car get a focus ST or a 2016 civic

maybe a golf GTI if you're a memer

...

>what is rust undercoating

Seriously, I live in Maine and I do this every 2-3 years on my cars. Damn thing looks like it did when I bought it last year, minimal rust anywhere.

Go find a car from the south, bring it back and coat the undercarriage in rust treatment. If you can't do it yourself, most places only charge like $200 to do it.

Buy out of state, you chump.

Not OP but do you have a brand name?

I was talking to my friend and he said he uses some shit the Navy uses to prevent rust. But I can't remember the brand name he mentioned to me.

This tbqh.
At least your rusted Accord is faster than a GM "Supercar"

I live in MN and my '01 Civic is fucking fine. Just brush the underneath with a powerwasher every now and then if you're afraid.

Muffler is probably gonna go no matter what though, but that's a cheap fix.

Fluid Film, I swear by this shit.

Frame on my '96 4Runner (I live in central IN):

>buy fluid film spray kit
>realize I have no car lift and thus cannot spray underneath my car in an effective manner
>kill self

bonus points for when I went to the mechanic and asked if they could do it and they told me fluid film 'doesnt work'

>fluid film doesn't work
they fix cars, not maintain them.

I use that shit every year on the engine bay of my car and it's halted the subframe rust. just get those metal ramp thingies and some goggles and some old clothes and have at it.

Maybe you should think about getting a rust proof aluminum Ford F150 EcoBOOST®

>f150
>aluminum frame

pick one

Jack stands that go high up + pieces of wood + jack

I use Rustoleum, but I've heard good things about Fluid Film.

If in Canada use "rust check" or "krown"

Personally I like Krown

If you listen to these fags about undercoating your car but doing it yourself, please buy a respirator.

Paint fumes don't play nice with a lot of organs.

who said anything about paint?

this stuff changed my life

Undercoating has a lot of similar harmful chemicals to paint.

It has to do with the volatile thinning agents. It gets worse when the stuff is an aerosol form.
