I haven't played Burnout Paradise more than five minutes (mainly played Revenge) and I don't know what the word "gameplay" means, especially in this context.
You drive cool cars in a cool world while listening to cool music. It's comparable to OutRun 2, which is my favorite racing game before this, except instead of a girlfriend you have a calming GPS woman guiding you to whatever destination you've picked.

Closed-track lap racing is dull, and I like being able to chill out and roam around between events in FH3. Also way more color and interesting variety in settings, and different terrain significantly affects your handling, and there's tons of stuff to plow through and big air to catch as opposed to perfectly polished asphalt circuits all the time.

H2A was pretty true to halo's aesthetics. But that was a remake, not something entirely new. 343 didn't even make it anyways, they have only made halo 4 campaign, around half of the halo 4 maps, and then all of halo 5.
I'd still like to see how a non-343 dev would fare in creating a NEW Halo game.

I don't know yet. By default the game is a typical lawnmower simulator that indicates everything on your minimap and constantly annoys you with notifications and random style scoring that celebrates every single thing you do, but I turned all that shit off for the immersion.
I actually don't know of any racing games that really go into easter eggs and hidden stuff like Beetle Adventure Racing on the N64.
As for difficulty, it's as hard as you want it to be. With Drivatar AI maxed and all driving assists off, the game is brutal from the get-go. I'm pretty pleb regarding sim racing games and I don't drive IRL so I have that going against me.
The demo on Xbone is pretty generous, like two or three hours long.

The races take pains to close off sections of the world (with festival obstructions, not hologram walls) and the checkpoints are no more than the width of the road.
