Most fanboys of the F1 would probably consider his opinion on anything after that invalid even though one of the very reasons he liked the slower but more comfortable SLR was because it was easier to drive. even during its time the F1 was probably far from being one of the easiest super-cars to drive to its limits because it was essentially just a very lightweight MR with a big powerful V12 and some people say its twice the car the Veyron will ever be (because) of its lack of computerized technology and it being harder to drive than the Veyron, a car "Your mother could drive".
I'm not saying you don't make a good point but rather the seeming inconsistencies of some from certain cars and the fanboys who follow them.
