I just love that madman. Kind of my initial inspiration for what I'd like to do with my Camry. Then again, it's my kind-of DD (I commute by train, based Switzerland). No idea what kind of paperwork would be necessary if replacing the 5SFE with the 1VZFE. Probably a ton and not really worth it. At the moment I'm just keeping it all original except wheels for handling.

The 7mgte is not a bad engine once block and head is milled with metal head gasket and arp bolts. Under appreciated engine that has good aftermarket, just head horrible manufacturer torque specs for the head. Can be found cheap too. Can be built up safely for less that a jz swap.
