The Camaro is slightly high sided but mostly it's 3" lower with a shorter, flatter roof. Which is normally more appealing unless your brown, Asian, or your life is consumed with memes. It looks fucking stupid with a sedan sized roof.

Out of the pony cars, it is the absolute slowest. Even the new zl1, with the most powerful production engine GM has ever built (650 hp) is not as powerful as the gt500 from 2013 or the hellcat. In terms of the best one you can buy, aka the absolute best the engineers could do with their respective companies, the Camaro is, in fact, the slowest. The gt500 topped 650 hp in 2013, and the hellcats topped 700 (I know, """""707""""") 2 years ago, and the camaro is just now reaching 650. That means it is literally years behind Ford and Dodge (especially when you factor in le 2 valves and le pushrod memes). But I will concede that when you go down to base poorfag models, the camaro is the best value. I would still take the Mustang though, since I rather dislike my cousin's mullet.
