Can someone enlighten me as to why the Japanese like Gears so much? They hate Halo and pretty much 85% of all other western exclusives.
It's about half and half. They have a lot of pre-order exclusive shit as well as food/drink promotions. There is still plenty of unlock able stuff in the game that will keep anyone plenty satisfied. Stuff like this is thrown around because the companies know the fans will want every last thing they can get for fan purposes and showing off.

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE HAVING ISSUES WITH GEARS 4 RESTARTING ITSELF ON PRE-LOAD!
A well known issue is that if your computer goes to sleep while downloading it completely fu JD the download. Make sure you set your computer set timbre to never hibernate, sleep, idle whatever you want to call it. As for people getting errors, that's a Microsoft issue not you. Just wait it out a little bit and check the store at a different time.
