I finally got the crf back together today, just needs a new fuel tap and done.

also had to replace a few seals in the case of the 300 and replace the reed valves.
Thinking its running around 55-60bhp atm after the rebuild and being run in, the new piston is about .010mm taller than the old piston and have also put a new power valve cover on the engine so its not leaking exhaust and throwing off the resonance in the expansion chamber anymore.
Need to get it on a dyno now.

Fuck i am keen to go for a ride at the moment.

It's a solid bike, you won't find 600+ supersport power or suspension from it but it will do just fine.
Clutch up 1st, 2nd, no worries. Drag knee. Dirt track compliancy.

The CBR is pretty clean, the GS500 is a little more beat up (to be expected of a GS500)
Would it be a stupid move to look up the Blue Book and NADA guides and go off of the lower one for pricing? Blue book on the CBR is about $3300, the GS500 around $1800 on NADA.

Also they have a 2008 SV650 listed for $3000 but after riding a buddy's Ninja 650 I don't really want to start on a 650. I know that makes me a vagina, but I'd rather outgrow something and discover my limits in a way that won't kill me, rather than find out "oh fuck dong this thing makes you dead" and then being dead because the bike is more responsive.
