What's the general opinion on Fieros? There's one for sale right by my house and it looks flawless. I figure that it could be a fun-ish daily driver. It's an 84-86 SE. Right now I DD a foxbody, so...

Read the sticky

I did. I just wanted to know more about what Veeky Forums thinks.

After working on one and driving it around fur a bit, I don't like them desu.
They are very primitive, they remind me of a jeep in a lot of ways.

I bought an 85 5 speed 4 cyl for $600. Drove it for a week before I blew it up. Most fun week of my life. DO IT

OP american cars are le terrible buy a miata instead.

I mean... I'd rather not have it blow up... It's also an auto

I like girls.

I love mine.

the car under the cover on the left is a fiero too.

Fuck that noise pham. Get a standard or go home. The autos are painfully slow and no fun.

Why is silver objectively the best Fiero colour?

I like them, they have a LOYAL cult following
Also, 88 is the most coveted year due to the suspension refinements, for non-88s I think they swap the rear sub frame from an 88 to get the suspension refinements
Also, pretty big engine bay and can fit 4cyl upto DOHC North star engines, so plenty of options availabke

Suzuki X-90
Mah nigga
My grandmother had a MT silver one, learned how to drive in that car.

that silver black contrast on them fine lines boi lemme tell ya

If this post ends in singles I will buy a fiero and put an sr20det in it

Friend has one with 10k miles on it, p. jelly.

>It's also an auto
Helllll no. Why would you ever want to drive a 4 cylinder NA automatic? Fuck why would you ever want to drive an 80s automatic period? (F bodies excluded)

>upto DOHC North star engines
Sky's actually the limit.

What engine is THAT

LS7 - You can fit even bigger engines longitudinally here's a Poncho 455

Better learn how to custom fab and rebuild components.
>worn out a-arms on any other car? Buy replacement on eBay and have it in 3 days.
>worn out a-arms on a fiero? Check forums for bushing size and possible vendor list. Purchase press and miscellaneous specialty tools. Order parts, learn how to rebuild a-arm by YouTube video. Mangle first a-arm, buy junker replacement from some guy in Canada you found on forums, try again.

yeah if you remove the rear trunk you could fit a jet engine in that bitch.

you do know that literally every part under the hood/body is from the GM parts bin, right?

chevette front suspension for example.

>cult following
not every car with such shares information freely

I DD an 85 gt 4 spd manual, very fun car for me and reliable as well

Do this to it. Best use of a Fiero.

Is it too much?

you call that a camber change?

>know a dude lifted his truck without changing the control arms
>it looks like that at rest

but yes in most cars people want to avoid long suspension travel
given the limitations of normal equipment

performance wise.... keep looking
style wise..? I think they're kind of awesome... catered to a style sensibility that pretty much no longer exists... which I think makes it interesting... and makes me wish I owned one... especially one of those stock bright ass yellow ones

the fuck is up with that exhaust

powered by anemic buick 3800. got recalled for the park brake failing to operate.

I actually like that a lot

I love mine. I DD mine as a college student and it has treated me well. It's an 88 GT (pic related)
