Heard this has a smidge more power than the VTR, is there any reason to get the Honda over the Zuki?

Just reverse the cables on your battery.

i spent all day on it Saturday and i was honestly more comfortable on it than my vstrom

get two pieces of wire and a switch, one leg goes to your battery positive lug, the other goes on the positive of the starter solenoid coil and the switch is to turn the starter on and off
turn the key to the run position and then hit the starter like you would with the key.

Heaps of LAMS bikes around, but a Suzuki GSF250 is kind of rare.

Personally i'd wait a bit longer and save up more and get something newer and nicer, maybe a SV650, CBR500R, R3 or Ninja 300.

Over in the states that matter we usually get new LAMS bikes often.

That suzi might be hard to find parts for if something goes wrong

This without a doubt is the worst bike I've ever ridden. And I'm not a "hurr durr Harley is gay" guy either. Please explain what went horribly wrong. It's laughably expensive, slower than shit, handles like Rosie O'Donnell, and the brakes were about as effective at slowing the bike down as dragging my feet. I'll confess it does look quite good however

I have zero doubt about it. at least that one has longer travel suspension compared to the stock models.

I need to test ride a few, but I have no doubt they are objectively pretty flawed.

It was horrendous. And I went into the demo ride terrified I might fall in love with it. It legitimately did not do a single thing well. It really irks me that they're trying to market it as a European and sporty type bike when it couldn't be farther from that
