Most power I owned before trying out a BRZ was a 160hp Lancer, and I found it very fun to drive. The dealer car had sticky Dunlops on it so I had difficulty kicking the tale out.
My current FiST is fun, but the BRZ felt a bit faster, and gave me more confidence in the corners.

Honestly they are quite shitty cars, I would rather buy a 90s early 2000s car over the BRZ saves you money and you will have a much better performing car. Maybe even an e30 if you are willing to get a car that old.

Anyway, to business. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a small car, at 2700lbs, 200hp, an lsd and six speed manual. It sounds like fun to me.
With good tires and brakes, at 13.5 lbs per hp your going to have a quick little ride there op. Enjoy it.
