Porsche hasn't yet released a front-engine sucessor to the classic transaxle models...

>Porsche hasn't yet released a front-engine sucessor to the classic transaxle models, available on a 30k-40k budget to counter the Mazda MX5 and the Fiat 124 as the new entry-level sports car, while still offering rear seats and enough luggage space to permanently kill and replace the average executive sedan

Why hasn't Porsche done something like this? It would be a guaranteed success, they wouldn't even need to make it absurdly fast or anything.

Principle. I am married to a German. I can assure you, they are stubborn as fuck when it comes to work and and their pride. Mercedes, BMW and Audi have been for the very very most part sticking to their principles...thus, there is no need for Porsche to go out on a limb- they are the more exclusive marque anyhow. This is all my opinion of course.

Why would porsche try compete with a fucking miata?
Miata is for midlife crisis fags that couldn't afford a boxster

Fair enough, but it's not like Porsche never released anything on a somewhat below average price for the marque standard, pic very much related. Making a compact on the price of a BMW / Mercedes / Audi sedan isn't exactly hurtful to their exclusivity, it would still be a fraction of what you'd get with a 911 and yet it would have enough potential to distinguish itself from the crowd.

r u avin a giggle?

the cockster is for midlife crisis fags that couldnt afford a real porch

...

Exclusivity

The real Porsche is for midlife crisis fags that couldn't afford a Ferrari.

>BMW
>sticking to principals
>4 door 6 series "gran coupe"
>FWD crossovers for wealthy americans to buy for their daughters
>3 and 4 series split instead of keeping it the 3 series
>bloat everywhere
>turbocharged engines in M models which have always been responsive, high strung NA cars

>turbocharged engines in M models which have always been responsive, high strung NA cars
Not like they have a choice in that one. Everyone's going turbo and downsizing due to increasingly stringent emissions regulations. Turbos are the easiest way to game the system.

>Porsche hasn't yet released a front-engine sucessor to the classic transaxle models
Because they were shit.

Porsche is doing just fine without that type of car, and if you want a FR Porsche get a Panamera

>FWD
It was cancelled, never happen and for now never will.
You've got it right with the rest.
Chebby and Ferd managed to get their big veeates onto the European market. BMW took the lazy way out.

>tfw purists like this faggot killed the 911 killer

The Boxster directly replaced the 968. Heck, the Boxster was actually cheaper than the 968. The current Boxster is still cheaper than the 924 Turbo would be in current money, the thing cost 2 1/2x as much as an RX-7 and twice as much as a Firebird Trans-Am. The 924 is not the car you think it was. Only the first couple years was it significantly cheaper than any modern Porsche.

Also buy a TT and enjoy the FWD cuck life.

>928
>911 killer
You may choose only one

>available on a 30k-40k budget to counter the Mazda MX5 and the Fiat 124

You don't understand anything right?

Porsche doesn't need to do any of that. They are not even in the same segment you fucking idiot.

And the Ferrari is for midlife crisis fags who were too pussy to buy an RUF

That was just to get Porsche out of finicial problems, they used a crossover to do that this time.

TFW every Porsche you see is an SUV now.

im 22 and own an F430, am I a fag?

There's nothing wrong with the Macan or Cayenne.

there isn't anything wrong with their function, but who can take porche seriously when most the cars they sell are mom mobiles and not sportscars anymore

"At Porsche we make the world's best handling sports cars".....washroom break...(farting noises)...."ABORTABORTABORTFORTHELOVEOF!!!"....................SUV pops out

Their sports cars are better than ever
Their suvs are by far the best on the market
Anyone who is salty about it should reevaluate their opinion and stop being a hipster

post cock and keys in the same pic
