lots of shit broke this year. couple things working against these cars now:
1: the power numbers these days are not comparable to those of a decade ago. 400hp used to be amazing, now it's the standard.
2: while these cars are making more power, it does NOT mean they are setup, tuned, or built correctly. its rare to see a correctly setup and correctly tuned car.
3: the type of driving and type of people driving these has never changed.
with all that said ive been politely beating the shit out of my built 1g for 3-4 years now at over 30 psi, working up to over 50psi boost. no major issues, rock solid and everything functions as it should. it is not the car's fault if the owner is incompetent.
