Speshul snowflek engineering and being race bikes, as in designed to work reliably for one race. They can't even get the damn things to not break down during an endurance race
Bar ends are dead easy, just measure the internal diameter of your bars and get weights to fit.
Mirror threads are usually 10mm left-handed but make sure you check the pitch of the thread, usually 1.25 (fine) or 1.5 (coarse)
