If you drag all the folders you want to the little up/down arrows in the bottom left, it'll download just the selected ones. Took me a good 10 minutes to figure it out.

Mega has the shitty feature of storing stuff you're downloading in your system's hard disk before transferring it to where you told it to download stuff to.
If you're downloading 100gb of stuff, for example, you'll need 100gb free on C:, even if you're downloading to an external hdd.
Download it in smaller chunks.
