They made really shitty engines for ford

Non-car companies making cars? That could be cool, oh wait.

I've been wanting that forever. I want to see something from BRP and maybe Kawasaki too. If anything, I'd like to see a little track toy like KTM did.

Also Catepillar and John Deere maybe? And if Kenworth made a fuckhueg SUV or pickup truck like International did with the ZXT or whatever but without being an International.

What if we took their fighter jet expertise and used it to build a car?

You'd have to sell like five kidneys to afford one, but it would be the best car available

Würth it.

I looked it up and apparently they actually have a concept car
And it looks badass

I'd really like to see what shit the positively insane icelandics would put together

...

>I want to see something from BRP
Considering their jet skis use little three cylinder 2 liter supercharged engines that make 300 hp on a factory tune and 91, yes. And they use composites all the time. They could probably re-tool all their composites manufacturing equipment, use transmissions and suspensions from their side by sides, and make a slightly shittier but way cooler alfa 4c that would probably never make it on to US roadways, but could be used on a track.

>ignoring the point of the thread
Fucking useless memesters

A car that would insert anal probes, oral probes and brain-activity monitors every time you drove? Interesting

>buy car
>drive car on Saturday
>half car is gone on Sunday
>car has evaporated by Monday morning

...

More than you can afford, pal...

Harley.

It was actually a really great engine that ford fucked up like they always do.
They did great things for toyota

Not even being a memelord

>costs twice as much as anything else
>functions the same as everything else that is half the cost
>sometimes finnicky
>overrated
Oh wait, I just described BMW

Exactly. I had a Sea Doo a few years back with a 900cc 2-stroke Rotax and that fucker revved and picked up so fast on the little 2 seater.

Though they'd basically be Toyota

Apple

If it was a DI 951, you have my condolences. Carbed 951 and you have my jealousy.

ibm/lenovo

the volvo of laptops

oh god no

the most unreliable parts of any german car likely have a bosch logo on them

memes aside i'd imagine them to be a lot like Mitsubishi and their Lancer Evolution/GTO/Pajero line. At the cutting edge of technology/R&D with a undeserved reputation for crap build quality/reliability.

>only offering is plastic body panel lifted pick up truck
>color options are real tree camo and pink real tree camo

redbull

>tfw no Mini Ute

No idea. It was a 2002 or 2003 GTX or GSX or some shit like that. Only had them for a couple summers before I got rid of them because they were a huge waste of money but it was fun while it lasted. The other one was a Yamaha Waverunner and that was 1200 or 1400cc, but it was a 3-seater and felt more like a small boat so I always took the Sea Doo.

Ass blasted poorfag found

>butthurt wehraboos

...

it has one pedal for throttle, brake and clutch.
The Apple Go

LeVolvo

>pedal for the clutch
Lel, this isn't a Motorola car.

Not really a company, but they put a car on the Moon.

The rover was a boeing/gm venture. Nasa was just the postman.

i really like this idea

also, pic related is basically a bmw

I want to see what the gmc version of the corvette would look like.

A really depressing 3 series with an operated engine that doesn't perform like it should

Move over Lamborghini, stealth fighter aesthetics coming through.

>over-budget
>behind schedule

aviationgossip.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/What-standard-attributes-distinguish-a-commercial-Boeing-aircraft-from-an-Airbus.jpg

REE I MEANT TO MAKE THAT THE IMAGE

>make their cars out of whatever the fucking GameCube/N64 are made out of
>20-star safety rating, the car is the size of a prius but reguarly totals Semis in collisions

tracked track car when?

Old, outdated, bad styling, slow as fuck

Never breaks down, economical as fuck, destroys anything it touches

they would probably not fuck it up

>Slow as fuck
>Rehash after rehash after rehash
>Ugly
>Gay looking.

>RWD 90s Japanese econobox
>90s interior with factory stickers on the doorcards in kanji.
>Fun as fuck

If only.

i wish

all the buttons and switches inside are sanwa arcade buttons.
you must insert 50 cents to start the ignition.

yep

naw more like lexus +$10,000 extra
just look at their phone prices

>not posting the Redbull X90

>Clooney face

Dat nostalgia

But you'll have endless fun driving it.

ive seen one on sale without the decals. but the bottle was there

>takes 20 years to release a car

Source engine. just build on top of it like garrysmod

nigga what, thats neat0

>unlimited funds
>endless supply of mad scientists in captivity
>alien technology

i win guys

They came and gave us free Red Bulls when I was installing irrigation. Literally the best thing that could have happened that day.

>For .gov and LE only, not for the general public.

welp.

...

>the most unreliable parts of any german car likely have a bosch logo on them
like the most reliable. because almost everything is from Bosch.

It would literally be the car from Spy Hunter.

...

>be half life fan
>go to prison in 08
>get out 8 years later in 16
>hl3 is still not out
>no rumors,teasers, or leaks.

But Yamaha has already made a few cool cars over the years.

Their trains are pretty based.

so isuzu

>cheap as fuck
>has no sustainability whatsoever but parts are seemingly ready by the thousands and require no effort to make
>car breaks within a week

>8 years of prison
>8 years of the same shit over and over again.

Damn, what did you do? what did you do to keep yourself busy?

would make a pretty sweet turbine engine powered car I think...

never get tailgated or cut off again

been done

I took welding classes for years and body shop, and I held kitchen jobs. Read a lot of encyclopedias how to and info books at the libraries of the various units I went to. Received the paper daily. There were few days when I had nothing to do desu

but yeah 8 years after I finished episode 1 and 2 still no 3 ayy

...

If an NSX and a Giulia had a child...

Haha, it looks just like an F150. Cars today really do look the same.

it basically is... I think Ford did this a few years back as a limited edition spinoff of somesort... kinda cool I guess

>get crashed into
>car still holds itself together

>Lexus Enthusiast
Is it Yamaha-built and Toyota marketed?

>Yamaha-built

2000GT was.

Not even
Boeing has super-advanced tech; they could make a normal car and do a good job at it
>freaking laser cannons
They made a laser cannon that can melt through steel battleship hulls and is currently in use by the US Navy

...

Not glorious Boeing-GE alliance

>tfw no GE F1 team

Toyota and Yamaha have created some truly great engines together, since '67.

$100M of smugness

...

>nuclear-powered cars

And they'd actually make it work, too.

They'd make two cars and that's it

>Never comes out with a 3rd gen for any model

Basically Volvo

>never breaks
>more plastic

More like apple kys

>mfw Apple car play isn't standard

>car able to rake in millions of miles with no problem, provided you do all maintenance on schedule
>scheduled maintenance requires you to dismantle the car 15 years in, do a complete overhaul on every subsystem and put it all back together
>great AC tho

>ergonomics of a Lada
>interior is all hard black plastic
>full of shitty driver aids
>stiff yet unresponsive steering
>civic is faster than it stock
>three attempted assassinations during development
