Too many slow days at work.
Fug
Justin Bennett
I had a slow day at work yesterday too. Only made $24 in tips
Andrew Rodriguez
I was a full $100 below my weekly average last week. Made $48 yesterday. I'm usually taking home around $60.

>just got back from taking it to a tranny shop >dem feels when waiting on phone to ring to tell you how fucked your bank account is about to be >owner senses my fug >will buy it from you user, if you don't want to pay for the repairs
fuck my life
Camden Harris
What's the problem? How much are they charging? How much would he buy it off of you?
Juan Price
Preludes are garbage, sell it
Kevin Jackson
(You) used to call me on my cellphone
Nathan Allen
its auto, thats the problem apparently it wasn't shifting when it should like from 2-3 it would stay in 2 sometimes and just rev so i was driving it around manually shifting it
nothing yet they haven't finished diagnosis afaik and no price offered we didn't discuss it past his off the cuff remark about buying it which im not really interested in anyway sentimental value/first car
Asher Martinez
You should at least try changing the trans fluid yourself first. This guy can be trying to make a profit off your car user
Xavier Green
Guy thinking of buying an auto 98 lewd from the last thread here, wondering after how many miles yours went out/how often you changed the ATF and general stuff about yours shitting out? Or if you recommend I don't buy the car even with records of having ATF changed at 40k. I've read a few threads on it on various lewd forums but I trust shitposters more than reputable forum posters.
Connor Walker
got it at 146k its at 155k now, so didnt change it in that 9k. trans was worked on but i forget at what mileage the paperwork is in the glovebox and thats at the shop
and im 100% positive its my fault its fucked i did brake stand launches off red lights and shit like reversing and slamming it into drive trying to break the front tires loose and its my first car so def wrong guy to ask
Julian Richardson
Alright, well thanks and hopefully your shit is repairable.
Isaac Thomas
Lel that'll do it. I'd change the fluid and save up for a manual swap.
Leo Williams

Aiden Anderson
I got some new fancy ngk plugs for the teggy, and also cleaned off some of the contacts on my distributor cap. The idle has seemed to smooth out a considerable amount, but still not quite perfect. I got a new cap on the way, so I'm hoping that will continue smoothing things out.
I need to vacuum my shit out, but here's a comf dash shot :^)
Isaac Nguyen
thanks mane
Henry Stewart
Get a new rotor too fggt
Juan Baker
The one that's on there is actually pretty new lookin' though. I'll probably do it soon anyway. I'm trying to erase all of the bad vibes from the previous owner. Just gotta throw more money at it!
Parker Morales
That's it mayne
Sebastian Martin
Damn u dimmer :(
Landon Kelly
It's that what the dim knob looks like? Never messed with mine.
Landon Ross
>see drive trailer on TV circa 2011 >nightcall by kavinsky plays on Pepsi radio station on Pandora years later >loved it >Veeky Forums mentions the movie every now and then >listen to human bean, thought it was shit >fast forward another couple years to today >take my morning routine shit while browsing Veeky Forums >green text stories of drive, last straw gotta watch movie soon >after class procrastinate studying for tomorrow's quiz by being a gud goyim, donating shekels to jewtube to watch Drive >liked the movie, laughed at Veeky Forums and Veeky Forums references, loved nightcall even more and started liking a real hero unironically >tfw drove to the gym like a real human bean and drove home while listening to nightcall No regrets in procrastinating /blog
Dimmer for the cluster?
Kevin Reed
Have you seen Only God Forgives. I think I liked it more than Drive. I kinda wanted more scenes like the very first one.
>that cruise button
Gib me pls
Josiah Williams
Yup, found the problem pretty quick
Alexander Harris
It only lights up. It has a nice green to it when I hit the switch. I'll ship it to you for free for trade of a spare button to cover the hole and a front driver side speaker grille jej. I deleted the cruise control module since the new wheel doesn't have cruise buttons. I need to take a new pic of my engine bay since I did some Jay dee eem delete kits on it.
Drive felt more of a mafia movie than anything. Should I watch the trailer for that movie you recommended? Or is the trailer full of spoilers like the drive trailer?
Jej how does that happen?
Ryan Lewis
I'd skip the trailer. It's chock full of aesthetic. More than Drive.
I still wanna get aftermarket cruise control sometime.
Ayden Martinez
>tfw finally got my integra back from the shop >within 30 minutes so giddy I grind 4th gear Whoops.
Nathan Mitchell
I hate when that happens. Luckily I feel I've gotten pretty good at shifting so it's pretty rare. Still ruins muh day when I do it.
Adam Turner
How much was your rebuilt trans again?
When that happens I exaggerate pressing the clutch all the way in and wait an extra half second to touch the knob lol
James Cook
$700 and I had to mail my old one to Synchrotech so they can clean it up and sell it to the next guy. Came with a one year warranty that will be gone early next year. Smooth as fuck though, probably will last longer than a factory Si trans.
Angel Allen
Hmm seems a little steep. I wonder how much it would cost to have a trans shop fix my input shaft bearing. There's one less than 5 minutes away from my house lol
So the past couple of years owning it, my bro was diagnosing it as a spun bearing but I kept fucking telling him it goes away when the clutch is pressed in and there's no constant knock. But I digress. He said it's the trans when he fixed my AC. The engine is healthy except burning oil. I shift at an optimal 3k again.
Aiden Hernandez
Yeah I used a credit card. kek
I figured with the synchros gone in both third and fourth it would probably cost almost the same amount to have the trans rebuilt. My car would be out of commission until they rebuilt it too and I didn't have the luxury of losing the car for it.
Cameron Mitchell
>optimal 3k again.
>shifting at the same rpm every time
muh ring wear REV IT OUT CUNT
Jacob Garcia
It's for optimal fuel efficiency ya kangaroo fucker
William Cooper
its optimal for wearing your rings and cylinder walls prematurely you fucker
>fuel economy
HF d15b6 here
>50mpg+ gangsters only
Henry Campbell
Man there's so much that can wear in a car it's hard to keep up with it all. Though I seem to keep above 30mpg no matter how I drive it. I usually bounce between 3k to 3.5k. Every now and then I'll take it to 7k just before rev limiter because I hate that sound.
Caleb Smith
Then what do you shift at? How come Honda in the owners manual tells me to shift at 3k?
Michael Campbell
Just looked it up and it's $595 Seems tempting. I don't know how much a shop would charge to install it though. Seems like a stupid question but it comes with a new clutch right?
Samuel Young
>How come Honda in the owners manual tells me to shift at 3k?
it doesn't mean religiously
>Every now and then I'll take it to 7k
exactly what you should be doing >every >now >and >then
Adam Rivera
>a shop would charge to install it
Aiden Hughes
I think the shipping is $100 so that's about right.
If I didn't meet somebody that lives for Hondas I would have been doing the same thing. Honestly easier than I thought but FUCK trying to line up the trans with the engine. So much fucking around with it.
Jordan Gomez
Oh and no clutch with it unfortunately.
Liam Roberts
Yeah man every time I do it I putter home as quietly as possible lol.
It's always 3rd or 4th gear shifts near redline for me, which is the scariest part, my foot and hand lose synch and it all goes to shit.
Jaxon Smith
>tfw high rev shift from 4th to 5th >accidentally 3rd >BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA >hits damn near 9k >can't even rev that high normally
Scary bruh.
Carson Turner
Just got a 2004 honda jazz/fit 70,000 miles on the clock
Anything I should know about it?
Also, need to sort out an aux input for it, any tips?
Benjamin Ross
Congrats user, welcome to the family. Check the fluids, tires, brakes and air filters. Replace parts that need replacing. Join the collage man. We need more Fits/Jazzes
Kayden Ross
save yourself from the headache and get a manual lude
Sebastian Hernandez
I might be picking up a running and driving prelude for $500 how hard is it to fix a leaky radiator, replace a CV boot, thermostat, timing belt, clutch, and water pump?
Benjamin Wright
I am uploading the picture I want in a sec
Adam Morris
...
Brayden Cooper
just needs a battery
Luis Anderson
Fixing the radiator would be replacing it with a new one. That's probably the easiest on your list
Henry Torres
what year homie?

Rating the car dealers based on my experienc4 delivering to them. Lel
>Honda The best. Always tip and some employees love muh hatch.
>Nii-san Delivered first time today. Good tip. Ugly cars though.
>Chebby Gave me too many coins as a tip but better than nothing. Listened to a guy shill a C7 to a boomer.
>Ferd Pure shit. No tip at all and the customer is a bitch to find.
Ayden Rodriguez
I'm telling you honda will be first manufacturer to install SCR in gas cars
Leo Scott
>be early today, after class >talk about drive to my class mates >walking to my car with mates >I parked at the first spot of an isle >normie class mate says damn this is yours right here? >ya lel it's stick >looks inside, oh it is stick....what the hell how do you drive like that? >qt class mate who was walking behind us stops by >whoah user is it so it doesn't get stolen? >yea and so I can get in and out while holding a back pack easier >I like those air fresheners for the air gains though >this girl has been complimenting since before class started >tfw she has a bf She's probably looking for attention and/or a replacement jej Just fished my domino's order mayne. Delivery dude has a 2ND gen CRV. Been delivering for over a year now to my house, he knows he's getting that tip.
Tyler Adams
What's SCR?

If I had the extra money, I would definitely put a cold air intake and a quiet performance exhaust system in my CM.
I mean, why get a fart can when you can turn your car into a sleeper?
Xavier Brown
Some suspension would make it look real good.
Lincoln Richardson
I should consider a rear rotor conversion kit as well.
Basically, if I ever win the lottery I'll definitely modify the car.
Josiah Morgan
Probably going to pick up a Civic for my first car to really take apart and work on. Ive watched a lot of engineering explained and have friends who are mechanics and one who's a pro driver.
What should i know or prepare when i first get it and start wanting to take it apart?
Benjamin Howard
Thought I would do a comparison between my steel wheel and Vision wheel as I did my brake pads...
Jaxon Lewis
...
Joshua Cox
....is heavier?
Owen Johnson
Yeah
Had a feeling it was
I now have a broken caliper pin fastener and the remaining part of it is in the caliper pin; it broke without any effort - I was just breaking it loose.
And I have to be at work in an hour and have to shower

S660 in the UK when?
Xavier Phillips
It's a rainy day again. This year is setting records I think.
Evan Barnes
gib rain please, it's 90 right now. So which are you throwing back on your car?
Mason Kelly
Lel wish I could. Delivering in the rain is miserable.
