For heavies/assaults I usually slim it down to 12pts. I figure that's enough for a mlas/mpls or srm6 backstab.

But that's exactly how the zoom module works in-game, it takes a part of whats being rendered on the screen and transfers it to a texture, thats why the zoom module looks like pixelated shit.

Also Crytek is just now working on a multiple viewport (PiP) solution, its on the engine roadmap on their site.
