hey guys just wanted to leave some feedback on larguu's setup.
i think it's very much worth the $10 for a custom setup prepared by OVGT1's champ, Larguu. it looked and felt like the stock setup, but after 200 laps of practice, i went 0.3 sec quicker than my previous personal best.

the takedown challenges were usually ok except the lolcantturn raid/dirt ones
the cop missions you can just speed away at the start and get gold/platinum every time, if you get stuck at the start or you have a dirt/raid vehicle then it's pretty lame but i think i only got caught once or twice by accident ever
now what WAS bullshit were the collection missions, i finished every time with under 5 seconds remaining and it was very tight and unfun
in general raid and dirt vehicles just are aids they're slow, unfun and can't turn

The only really bullshit thing about the AI is the complete disregard for AI traffic >get off the line a bit slowly >the leading AI car inadvertently does a PIT maneuver on a random traffic car, blocking up the entire road >power through regardless, start making good progress towards the leading pair >man this is easy, the distance just melts away >get within 100m of the leader, ready to overtake him as soon as the traffic clears up >the #2 AI tries to make a pass, botches it and slams into traffic >get nailed by a fucking flying SUV and get the little "lel you fucked up" cutscene >distance to leader is now 700m
Other than that, they're pretty poor drivers and really easy to outrun unless your vehicle sucks. They're also really easy to juke into completely ruining their chances, try letting one creep up to your rear quarter just before a hairpin and watch him completely blow past the corner, slamming into the retaining wall at 200 kph.

So, i've learned from OVG to hate. In general and Ubi in particular. And then they give The Crew away. It was friday, i installed that ubi.exe, finally loaded The Crew. And man, my mind was blown. It's like you bring the beauty of The Run, use GTA alike somehow openworld and take acradeness from my all-time favourite game - NFSU2. WOW. I fucking love the Crew now, no matter what. >yes, i see all the crappyness of this game, but my estimations were low, it's not considered as a racing sim, and i like it as i was getting bored right before i installed it

it's so tru,e if you get 200+ meters past the ai you're set for the rest of the race (unless you crash)
if you're stuck as second/with the pack they will constantly keep crashing into you in corners or throwing civilian trucks flying your way AND the leader will never make mistakes (like the mentioned blowing past a corner) when they're the leader, it's only when you are leading that they tunnel vision on passing you.
you need immense rng luck to weave past traffic at incredibly hihg speeds greater than the alpha dog AI because you never know what's coming after the apex at 300 kph when there's a wall or a hill
and the leader usually drives pretty fast so you can't really give yourself a margin of error if you want to catch them ever
all in all i still love the game like even if it triggers me every time something triggering happens
