New player here, just learned my town wants more flowers and trees.Then I realized that you can plant the fruit to make more trees. So I planted what I had but, im curious as how to get more flowers? I tried picking one up and planting but it just moves it, and the stores dont seem to sell seeds or anything. also do I need a watering can?

Speak to Isabelle and after you're done with her tutorial she'll give you a watering can. Pick up flowers and put them near each other, water them and the next day they'll sprout more and maybe even mix colors if they're the same type of flower but different colors. White roses planted next to red roses might spawn pink roses the next day, etc. After you've done something botanical 30 times (pull weeds, water, plant trees, etc) the Gardening Shop will pop up on Main Street
