The post-hardmode and even a lot of the pre-hardmode equipment makes Terraria shitty for team-based PvP.
It would be cool if there was a server which let you pick out loadouts from a limited selection of items (and each item would have a cost, the total would need to be under a cap), had an objective, and used player-made maps that were designed for all sorts of crazy stuff to be able to happen.
Also another change would be that bomb statues would not drop bombs, but instead restock your items to your specified loadout; though to prevent players from making each other OP by swapping equipment then restocking, items would not be able to drop.
So if you wanted to be the engineer from TF2, you'd get a boomstick, bullets, a bunch of traps, a heart statue, a bomb statue, and everything you need for wiring. As well as some blocks and mining equipment, I guess.

Is there any way to get TEdit to recognise lava in imported images? It doesn't even seem to recognise lava that I export then re-import.

As far as I know, TEdit doesn't work with liquids unless you use schematics instead of images.

I'm pretty hyped because I'm in the process of generating a map that is pretty much just a giant mushroom-biome bubble filled with tunnels and surrounded by magma. Also the lower part is fire moss instead of mushroom grass.

Though I just remembered I'm going to have to split it up into four images because TEdit just ignores you if you give it a 2000x2000 image. Which is easy to do, except that actually lining things up in TEdit will be annoying.
