Light, handles nicely, comfortable. I put over 100K miles on my 88 (ran a while with no speedo so that's a low figure) with minimal problems. Evo big twins are easy to live with.

Aiguille du midi in Chamonix, you can take a cable car to 3800m, high enough to experience altitude sickness. The views weren't great because of cloud cover so I stayed up there for most of the day to wait for a clearing between the layers.

This is what you can see on a clear day (taken the year before).

Thanks, this is the final photo that I recovered. It's a little disappointing that the RAWs were unrecoverable, the quality would have been much higher.

Oddly, though I love Chamonix, I've never been there in the winter. I tend to pass through it each summer because it's a nice nexus for accessing or leaving the central Alps. The straight shot from Chamonix to Calais this year was a little trying.

Nobike here, I was planning on buying a dirt bike after I move however between issues with transportation and wanting to ride it for relatively short trips on the street I figured a dual sport would be a better option.
