Its not so much the brakes as it is the suspension components and steering system can't handle the extra pressure they cause. Trucks don't have this issues because of stronger components.

It's two different types of wear on the road. The impact of a bumper or oil pan will cause more damage in a small spot than gradual wear from vehicles and desu I'm tires of following some clown that needs to slow down to a crawl to pass over the slightest bumps
