The short answer is no it won't do anything to your motor to hurt it.The long answer is you should Google back pressure because you lose it with those jokes, it pretty much means your car will run like shit unless it is heavily boosted and even then you lose pressure on your turbo killing performance

I live in Texas and my sister own a horse; i.e. I go to farms a lot.

Its going to rob you of some power.
Now theres a legend out there that bad exhaust systems can rust out and then pull bits of rust or metal back into the cylinder and start scraping up the walls. But Ive never seen that happen but other people say they have.

Old wives tail.
If your exhaust is that rusted, there's other rust on the intake side also.

>making your exhaust more free flowing on a NA car will rob performance
>m-muh exhaust scavenging

Veeky Forums really doesn't know dick about cars

you're probably an advocate of free bleeding, too

horsedick or gtfo I guess

Says the idiot who doesn't understand why cars don't just run open headers without intake mods but hey you read somewhere that it boosts hp so you know best

Engine masters did an episode on this. Power did drop when they used the largest diameter exhausts.

Depends on how bad it is.
