My ability to Skyrim SE is completely fucked. When iw as last playing the game, i reorganized the load order in the in-game mod menu but the game hung on the loading screen. I had toforce the game to close.
Now Skyrim does not work at all. i tried reinstalling and restarting my PC but it still isnt working.
The launcher boots up and I press "Play", then Skyrim begins running in the background but then nothing happens, the game doesn't start playing.

i had that happen too. For me it was because i had unconverted oldrim mods installed. Try disabling them if you have them.

Uninstall it completely. Telling steam to uninstall only removes the Launcher and Skyrim .exe's. Manually delete the entire Skyrim directory, /data/ and all. Then uninstall/reinstall through steam. Assuming you don't have any cloud-based fuckery going on, it will be a 100% clean install.

Make sure all your mods are compatible with SE. Do the painstaking task of testing every single mod to see which specific mod is the one causing you to CTD.
