The entire reason we got DeS in its current incarnation is because Sony wrote it off as a failure of a project and completely stopped paying attention to it.

Then you have to accept that compromises will be made and development time will be spent on things other than the game itself so that it can run on all platforms.

for keeping things like the saber from being completely overpowered, but since the saber and CCS are getting nerfed, I'd imagine GS are next since there'll be less a reason for them to be as powerful as they are provided that the curved sword nerf is significant

Walking backwards with projectiles works on them, their running attacks aren't particularly snappy even though they have fairly nice hitboxes. Though a GS user can have their own crossbow and all, not to mention a lothric beam or pyromancy if they're using onyx.

don't trade with a 2h GS user unless you know you have more poise health

So use something that allows you to dodge and quickly smack them as they charge you, most shit GS users will 2h/1h lock on, the real threat are the guys who can corner cut you 1handed unlocked, they're not only immune to parries but they can catch bad rolls and hit you 4 times in a row.

I feel like I'm cheating when I play 1h GS unlocked, it's insanely strong right now with current GS speed and the wide arc swings also great for gank busting shitters who mindlessly charge at you with straight swords.

they're slow, yeah. but what they lack in combat and fastness they make up for in good level design and lore. also the magic system is WAY better than souls

If you're gonna get that much dex, might as well get a dark lkss or ags. How you're going to fit all this in a build while being a pyro, not a melee with backup spells, is beyond me. The best results come with low dex and sage+2 or witchtree offhand
