just like, do verdant brink. Not really much else to it. Do any event you can find so you get parts and crowbars as rewards, then open up cargo with the crowbars for more parts, then cash in the parts for machetes

It just seems weird that you get boosts to almost double XP when you already level up fairly quickly
the other boosts I can understand at least

I dont pvp at all and I was able to tome 7 characters to 80 just from log in rewards.

remember you can pvp for 10 minutes a day, join daily rooms and get lots of tomes and transmutation charges for almost no effort at all

playing actual games with a fun build is much better though

I had no need to click skills in other professions I tried, but the amount of times I have to press f1 with my pinky while holding 'w' in ele is ridiculous.

If you have side mouse buttons, use them for attunements, specifically Fire and Air. If you don't, start rebinding your keyboard. ~12345, QERT, FG, XCVB are all better keys than your F keys and should cover your binding needs. Be creative, I used to have my elite on 5, heal on C and my primary class skills on T, Q, X, V, 1234, etc.

I've been using dagger/dagger
to move fast:
w > f1 > 3 > f3 > 4 > 5 > teleport (lightning flash)
rinse and repeat
