This time he gets the entire team killed. Finally he decides he needs aegis so we get it and I tell him we need to choke out the lanes. He ignores me and dives the T3 and gets both of his supports killed stopping our push.

And we just wasted 30mins because my team refused to see that we lost the game.

Blitz and Bulba killed the team with their amazing tactics and strategical insight.

No it doesn't, "tank" is an arbitrary classification in Dota 2, where characters can perform multiple roles a team may requires.

A good example would be someone like Pudge as a tank because he's naturally tanky, that doesn't make him a tank because people can obviously just not fucking target him. So he has his deadly aspect.

Then there's someone like Sven, who becomes incredibly tanky with +20 armor, building strength items which become more efficient with his ultimate while dealing crazy damage thanks to God's Strength.

A 'tank' is a disingenuous term, a hero can tank doesn't make them a tank. Nor does it mean you should pick tank. Yes there's a problem when your team consists of SWM, Lina, CM, Pugna and QoP but "pick tank" isn't the solution to better overall drafting.

The difference between LoL and Dota for the 'tank' dichotomy isn't even actually about "tanks"

LoL needs a tank because their carry is squishy as fuck and dies in 2 dies but he's built only damage items so okay he'll do that damage.

In Dota carries build items that make them tanky and provide damage or they offset them.

Sven, tanky and damage. Even Pudge has damage and is tanky. Shit like Morphling is really obvious where he can be tanky and deal damage. AGI carries can be tanky too with good armor, like Terrorblade or Slark with Skadi and PL with a Heart. Fucking Anti-Mage is tanky.

Which is also why League doesn't have melee carries because they're huge pussies. Meanwhile Dota 2 carries can BKB and YOLO into a 5-man and try to kill everyone.

It has good stats for it's price, the problem is justifying the active which has been shit since forever and is currently outclassed for the heroes it's designed for like OD, Silencer.

Why take a slow on OD when you can build Dragon Lance/Blink Dagger to close the distance? Why stack INT if you aren't OD/Silencer? Otherwise you'd build health and other items are better.

Literally whenever he was solo offlane he feeded firstblood and died at least 5 times until the 10 minute mark.Thats why they were forced to give him more space then w33 or resolution.

Safelane, yes. But support offlane, no. That's where wings figured out that if they just give shadow or faith_bian a 1v1 lane vs Moo's Timbersaw, they can win the other lanes since Moo always broke even or fell behind in these 1v1 match-ups

The reality is that Moo plays a top-tier Timbersaw but plays at 5k on other offlaners, just like how EE plays a great Mirana but his Invoker/DK/Razor loses games. But that Timbersaw or Beastmaster played to DC's strengths really well, way better than this meme-meander cw or ds which just doesn't fit the draft

Familiars should also be more tanky and reliable, they're way too weak for something that accounts for 50% of the hero like LD. That or give him like a dozen of them and make them weaker so losing one isn't so serious.

That's because Universe tends to iron talon until lvl 3 while people like Forev/eleven/ice3/pasha/MC/Bulldog will always try to contest

Reminder that this game is still a mess of code hammered into itself and build upon a complete mesh of instable versions. Every patch that comes out breaks more shit than actually fixes it and every time now since 2014 there has been a 3-4 Hero FOTM trend that keeps cycling to make the game more casual friendly.

Valvo knows for a fact that they can leave the game for broken and dead for months on in that despite all crying, it will still be steam's #1 most played game, since the community is filled with literally shit eater shitlords.

They give zero response, they give zero shits about balance, zero shits about support, zero shits about actual improvement, zero shits about new content and zero shits about anything that isn't jewing kids out of their parent's credit cards.
