If China becomes the superpower, Australia will grow more in power.
We are currently closer allies to China then we are to the United States, they are our central trading partner and also own quite a high percentage of our land.
Following Prime Ministers Whitlam and Rudd, our international relations with China has become perhaps our greatest driving force for our economy and a huge part of our diplomacy with other countries even/

China, Japan and South Korea.

The russians, chinese, the SEA region are all more likely to take over as the dominant region instead of the middle east. The middle east is too divided and too backwards to gain economical superiority.

The rice people have come to show themselves as the usual most civilised place, but we may have added to spice of imperialism to them by making everything within reach. Modernity may have been a suicide spiral for European culture. The recovery could be more assertive US globalism, but that meme could decay. Instead, white people might turn back towards their roots. Also the China that we come to know could be a highly 'Westernised' China, but without Western goals. The snow people (Russia) would probably continue their goals and possibly become the lead of a nationist-ised Europe. Then maybe want to take back Constantinopolis.

Decadent as an adjective refers to cultural and moral decline. This can happen at any level of wealth.

the race to just gain raw material wealth which we see in every chinese family right now, and I know this is just one incident but that case of the child getting run over by the car and people just walking by wanting nothing do do with it, if that's any indictaion of the moral backbone and unity of the nation where people just don't want to get in trouble and just stay quiet and continue to walk by becasue they're desperate to stay on the current trajectory of gaining more wealth, then they're definitely more decadent than the west.
They're not socialist in any way other than how their government operates. They may have a strong consensus needed in social life, but there's no real compassion or feeling of unity in any other way.
