stay away from this 18+ website, kid.

If you want a fail wheel drive shitbox that takes corners at the same speeds as Porsche 911's look no further.

Fixed that for you.

PS This one actually has balls and aftermarket

>20-years old
>rusted to shit
>owned by slavs or other sub-human race

no

SVTF will easily run circles around a PGT in the corners. I've driven both.

The KL-DE make the same amount of power as the SVTF Zetec, so unless you're ZE swapped you're not going very fast anyway. Also the SVTF isn't geared for drag racing, so comparing 0-60 times is pretty pointless.

this one

PGT doesn't look like babby's first college economy car

FSDE also has all of the aftermarket from the Mazdaspeed Protege turbo and the KL sounds way better than any 4-cylinder.

Not to mention if you sneeze on the KL you have 300hp, good luck getting that reliably from the Zetec. I've also hauled half of another PGT in the back of my last PGT so it gets bonus points for storage.

I've heard the 6-speed in the SVTF is nice, have wondered how hard it would be to put on a KL with a bellhousing adapter or something.

pic related is the only right answer.

murrican v8 will fucking demolish any 4 cyl euro hatch trash

its also rwd so you can pull hektik skids and have real control of your car.

fast back

He said cheap.

>cheap

The answer is impreza

yay someone posted my car

if you have a good set of coilovers and tyres this thing is a beast around corners :D

That tape would get your windows broke out if you lived round here, boy.

The fox fastback =/= hatchback. The focus is, however.

>focus
except we are talking about the best

kek

if you're going to post lift backs, at least post the right American lift back

>cheap hatchbacks

here's my $50 '91 EF civic

>$50

>friend has civic with blown d15
>sitting for over a year in a fenced in parking lot
>in a flood area and its flood season (west Alton Missouri)
>me and a friend go save it with my S10 and rented car dolly
>driving around police barricades to drive INTO the flood zone
>pull the civic out of the mud with the s10 (flat tires)
>push it onto the dolly and drive it out
>as we're leaving, water is rushing over the streets
>driving THROUGH THE FLOOD WATER with a shortbed single cab S10 and an EF civic on a dolly

fast forward
>friend sells me the shell for $50 plus what he owed me to tow the car out (total $100)
>buy craigslist engine for $150
>its a d15b6 from a CRX HF

so it has around 40 hp LESS than stock, and gets twice the mpg

there's hot hatches, mines ice cold

I thought crxs had better engines

completely depends on the trim level

my boss drives one of these and it's a little beast with close to 400hp, but cheap? lmao, old WRXs have a huge ricer tax

That is a liftback user. Not a hatchback.

The SVT Focus handles pretty fucking well. As when it released it was praised above all of the other hatchbacks of the time performance wise.

Ford just did not follow up because it did not sell well. Which was hard to compete when you had to sell against the civic who already had a crowd of follows, and the golf which the diesel sold enough on its own to keep the platform alive.

>no aftermarket
It's like you don't understand the amount of people who actually use the MK1.

Image very related, as it's a supercard class rallycross FIA car that wins series. The ST170 is heavily supported across the seas, its only in the US that aftermarket is harder to come by. And that's because people jump ship from one generation to the next the instant something new comes out instead of sticking with it. Like they did years ago.
